Israel can no longer expect "blank cheques" from Washington once president-elect Barack Obama's administration takes over next month, a former US ambassador to the Jewish state said.
"The era of the blank cheque is over," said Martin Indyk, director of the Centre for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institute, who is considered close to incoming secretary of state Hillary Clinton.
"The Obama administration intends to be engaged, using diplomacy to try to bring about a safer and more peaceful place, that is different from the seven years of the George W Bush's administration," he said.

Dr. Paul mentioned once that to 'turn a huge airplane around' will take a while. We may be able to make enormous inroads during this coming administration because Obama really does seem to 'listen' and tries to understand. He has made it clear, though he has surrounded himself with strong personalities with strong views, he will be the one setting policies.
We need to try to look at the positives here. Its not the end of the world or of our country. At least not yet anyway!
I am concerned there are so many DPers that go over board in their criticisms of someone who has yet to 'prove' himself. Well, no matter how outrageous that may be Constitutionally,
things are what they are, and personally, I don't see the courts disqualifying him. Its just the way it is.
That said, while it certainly is important for those legal experts to call Obama on the carpet to show proof of American citizenship, I really doubt it that anything will be done to buck the election.
I would much rather focus on getting indictments and justice re: against the gangsters currently in the white house, while we all continue to do our part by educating the rest of Americans with all the things we know that can help this country get back to its Constitutional roots!

With the change from Bush to Obama, the NWO agenda is moving forward... that's the only kind of "change" Obama will effect.
If you read down to the bottom of the article, you'll notice lots of talk about Iran and sticks and carrots.
Note this sentence (about Iran) from the article: "Carrots would include economic incentives to the CASH-STRAPPED oil producer and GREATER ACCESS TO THE INTERNATIONAL TRADING SYSTEM." (Now, ask yourself,.. Why is Iran suddenly "cash-strapped?" Why have our oil prices suddenly dropped so low? What the heck is going on here?)
Answer: THE WHOLE REASON FOR THE DROP IN OIL PRICES WAS TO BRING CERTAIN OIL PRODUCING NATIONS (Iran, for one) TO THEIR KNEES and into the NWO. Once that's accomplished, I expect energy prices to go back through the roof.
As the NWO is directed by Zionists, I get the feeling that Obama's ostensible "tough of Israel" stance is pure bull and show. Remember, they're trying to fool all of the people all of the time ... happily, an impossible task.
