Blago was a dirty scumbag long before this and the Rezko crap. He was front and center when it came to banning smoking and stealing that clientele from bars and restaurants rather than letting the owners decide whether or not to serve smokers.
He's as corrupt as they come but that's Illinois for you. It's the poster child for the Police State. If there's a dumb, fascist law, they usually test it out in Illinois first.

He was protesting with unions and I believe he wanted people to boycott Bank of America.

Now Fox and other news organizations are going to be after him like a pack of rabid attack dogs. They are accusing him of serious illegal actions which may or may not be true who knows. All I know is one minute I see him standing with unions backing them up and the next he's reported as being in federal custody. I only glanced over Fox as I was flipping through the channels. Didn't care enough to get the full story so I could be 180 degrees from the truth here. Just what I understood the story to be from watching a few minutes which is more than I could bare of Fox then turned the channel.

Don't let that fool you
Very few people hold any significant office where the dirt on them hasn't been accumulated and laying in wait. Mostly you can't get in to office unless they have something on you to keep you in line with very few exceptions.
