For those watching for the twin Quakes.
Lets hope they are WRONG!

OK, no point dancing around it. Here is an extract from last week's HalfPastHuman ALTA report. Please do not repost it, and any use requires a link both to www.halfpasthuyman.com and to www.urbansurvival.com. OK?
"The data sets associated with [twin earthquakes] continues to grow. The newly supporting sets are within the aspect/attribute sets of [pulsating (motion)], and [rippling (ground)], and [motion (of) sound (in) ground]. This last is supported by aspect/attributes which suggest that it is related to [waves] of [propagation] within the [surface] of the [earth], as well as being a literal/actual reference to [sound (coming up from the) ground] during the [earthquake(s)]. Further support builds under [mountains] where the newly arrived aspect/attributes include [frail crust], and [broken (open) fertile plain]. Other aspect/attribute sets in the supporting chain include [seed(ed) valley] as being the [focus/nexus] of the [most damage], though note that this is not necessarily the epicenter of the earthquake energy.
The data sets in the deep supporting layers include [stripes] as in [tiger stripes] that are forecast to make a [visible appearance] {ed note: most likely after the earthquake}. We also have [vegetable fields] at many different levels of support indicating an agricultural area will be very central to the [visible] aftermath. Deeper into the detail aspect/attribute layers we have descriptors for [images/views] of [humans looking up] and [humans (with) dropped jaws] and [humans with [fixed/glazed stares].
Part of the data sets are now going to the [visible] problems which will result from the [earthquakes]. A very major problem is showing as an [agricultural area] being [so devastated] as to have [problems with production]. Both this last, and the [rebuilding] are indicated to be a [decade, 10/ten years] activity. Other issues include the [immediate needs (of) food] and [shelter] for the [affected humans]. Much of the supporting language is coming in support of the idea of [needing to feed] some large/significant numbers of people post-earthquake. This is shown as being caused by several factors including the [isolation] brought on by the [disruption/destruction] of the [roads]. Some of the detail layers show that many days later, perhaps even [weeks], there will be a [cadre] of [humans] and [animals?] which will [undertake daily walking] to [bring back supplies] to the [affected regions]. The data sets are presenting the idea that even [large amounts] of [helicopter] delivered [food/aid] will still [require/need] to be [hand carried] to get to the [isolated communities]. The local [systems] for everything from [health care] to [fuel delivery] will be [disrupted] for some time in excess of [3/three years] by the [alterations] in the [ground shapes] and [bridges failing]. The data sets are also indicating that [following] the [earthquakes] and the [dancing mountains], the region (and perhaps the whole of the planet) will have a period of [profound rest/quiet] relative to [earthquakes]. This [period of rest/quiescence] is apparently of an emotional significance as the [lack of activity] is indicated to cause its own level of [stress] in the populace of the planet. "
There's more in other ALTA reports, but since we're really, really close to the twin quake window, not point being secretive about this. We're planning to watch quake coverage through most of this weekend - and wondering who will be offering the recovery aid and concert for fund-raising that seems to follow big quakes, but I get we will have those answers next week. Cliff, meantime, is hoping like hell he's got it wrong. Not bloody likely, but we talked about his fishing trip yesterday.

So........
All of these posts are now going into the webbot and fueling more stories for the webbot to digest, giving us even more information to speculate on.
And the beat goes on.
If it happens it happens. I'm not really sure if you can "prepare" for the earth opening up and swallowing you but I suppose it might make sense to have some beef jerky in your pocket anytime you went outside!

Although I find this
Although I find this interesting I don't think this is the place for fortune tellers. This website is a political website to discuss political ideas and political corruption. I wonder what people visiting this site would think when they come on here and read this stuff. Hey the chem trail stuff is bad enough but now you put psychic predictions as well.
I guess we'll find out in about a week, eh?

A more interesting topic
A more interesting topic regarding the Madrid fault line would be to discuss how a TN lake completely disappeared during one of the earlier quakes. During the same time a new lake was formed in the AR area. How exactly did an earthquake steal a lake only to create a lake hundreds of miles away.
I forget the names of the lakes now. 2 points to anyone who can figure it out.
Adam
realfoot lake was the one that was created by the earthquake! I can't remember which one disappeared. I lived in memphis, shelby county area most of my child hood and the water is great!!
Adam
so does that mean i only get one point for that answer?? :o)
Isn't that area over one of the world's largest underground
aquifers?

Yes actually it is. Memphis
Yes actually it is. Memphis always raved about their water. When I go back home I can actually taste the difference between here and there. I prefer Memphis water for sure.
Beyond the mumbo jumbo
Here's the FEMA report from November 2008:
The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency warned that a serious earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone could result in "the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States," further predicting "widespread and catastrophic" damage across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and particularly Tennessee, where a 7.7 magnitude quake or greater would cause damage to tens of thousands of structures affecting water distribution, transportation systems, and other vital infrastructure.[6]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Madrid_Seismic_Zone
So is it something the NWO wants? Yes. Is it a probability of happening? Yes. Do I believe a program that predicts the future? No.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
And that FEMA report only
And that FEMA report only says that IF a sizable earthquake hits the region it could cause serious damage. TRUE.
But the article doesn't say that there are signs of an eminent quake.
I will agree.. If the big one hits Memphis, it could be bad. The I-55 bridge very well may fall into the river. The I-40 bridge had been retrofitted but I wouldn't bank on that. Mud Island very well could disappear forever and the Pyramid would probably partially sink.
I agree.. a big one in that area will be no good to anyone.
But posts such as this are only fear-mongering.
To be honest.. I can't figure out why there have been so many earthquake posts here on DP lately. You people really should quit regurgitating the crap that is found at abovetopsecret.com and WND.com
the Madrid fault has some historical background
Read this link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rift_(novel)
It's a novel based on what would happen today (1999) if the same madrid fault earthquakes that happened in 1811, 1812 and 1813 reoccured. It's a pretty devastating account of the aftermath of a catastrophe that's happened pretty recently in our history.
If you've read anything about HAARP or scalar weapons then you might also know it's probably withing their ability to make something like this happen.
I'm not saying it's going to happen, it just seems mighty coincidental-a FEMA report , a major catastrophe predicted by a bunch of leaders, and the general scientific concensus the area is overdue for a quake.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Not Really... If you were
Not Really...
If you were actually from the Memphis area, you would know that these reports are quite common, as, the Madrid fault line is about 150 years overdue for a big earthquake.
I don't understand
The original madrid quakes happened 200 years ago, so they were predicting they were going to reoccur 50 years after they originally occured?
Also it seems like you're agreeing there will probably be a large earthquake by acknowledging that the madrid fault is overdue.
Are you saying you know the madrid fault is overdue for an earthquake?
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Oh, don't get me wrong.
Oh, don't get me wrong. There WILL be a large quake in the area. But it WON'T be predicted by a webbot, abovetopsecret or the USGS. Hense, these posts are nothing but fear-mongering.
No one can predict an earthquake.
What makes these posts any different than the guy who predicted them in the 90's?
okay we're on the same page
yeah webbots seem ridiculous to me as well. At least this story has some historical background.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
Well it's well known that
Well it's well known that the Madrid fault line is an active fault so I don't think there is anything to disagree on with that. I'm just saying these posts are fear-mongering because they are predicting a time-frame of when this will happen. THAT is bunk and impossible.
I don't buy this one bit
I've been reading about these 'quakes' now for several weeks on the DP. I'm also seeing the posts on abovetopsecret.com but I have to say.. all this is a load of bunk.
There are no reliable tests to help predict an earthquake. Tremors happen along fault lines all the time. Just because a sensor detects a tremor doesn't mean that there is an eminent earth quake.
On a further note (and I've posted this before), I'm from Memphis. Born and raised 21 years before I moved out West. People have been warning of an earth quake on the over-due Madrid fault line for as long as I can remember. The town started retro-fitting structures about 20 years ago in preparation of the 'big one'. Heck, I can even remember a time during the mid 90's when some big shot no-one predicted that there would be an earthquake. People all across the city (including myself) didn't go to school that day. But did it come? No. My family had all these stock piles of water and medicine and food, but did we need it? No. I don't doubt that one of these days a big earth quake will hit that region and when that day comes I'll be happy that I don't live there anymore. But will that day be predicted by machines and then accurately advertised by bloggers (for lack of a better term) like yourself? No.
adam there is guy name stan
adam there is guy name stan deyo who used to predict quakes quit often using the US navy technowledy.. they took it away from him..
these guys have hit many of there predictions.. all I am saying is lets see if it happens.. if it does they maybe a good sorce of info to prepare for! thats all.. saying that I know there have been things they have predicted that have not happened.. but there are many more they have! just look into it and study it!

Maybe, but there is no
Maybe, but there is no reason to cause alarm by posting topics regarding 'twin city quakes'. That is fear-mongering and in all reality there is no basis for this claim.
Here, read up on previous fear-mongering talks regarding the very same Madrid fault line.
How is this post any different than what was posted in the early 90's?

The day the earth stood still
How the media covered the "earthquake"
When an earthquake was predicted for December along the New Madrid fault, the news media didn't just report the ensuing panic they created it.
by Ed Weathers
In Memphis we knew it had gotten out of hand when the BBC called the P&H.
The P&H is a local tavern which bills itself as "The Beer Joint of Your Dreams." But that's not why the BBC called. It called because the P&H had decided to have an "Earthquake Eve" party on December 2, the day before Memphis was going to get hit by The Earthquake.
Yup, the BBC interviewed a beer joint about an earthquake. That's when we knew The Earthquake had turned all those media brains, once and for all, into mush.
True, The Earthquake made fools of a lot of people, but in the opinion of many observers, the press was more foolish than everybody else put together. Before it was over, virtually every newspaper, magazine and TV station in Middle America exploited The Earthquake. Every earthquake prophet, prediction, preparation and party made headlines for months.
There was only one problem: The Earthquake never happened and no one who really understands earthquakes ever thought it was going to happen.
In Memphis it all began on November 28, l989, when The Commercial Appeal ran an item that said "a scientist who correctly predicted October's San Francisco earthquake" in a speech had announced that something called "earth tides" could cause an earthquake in the New Madrid seismic zone on or around December 3, 1990. The New Madrid zone runs through parts of Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas. The scientist was Iben Browning, a New Mexico climatologist who sells long-range weather forecasts to businesses.
The story went on to interview real earthquake experts who discredited Browning's prediction, but it was already too late. Before long, The Earthquake became the story of the year in Memphis and throughout the Midwest and Midsouth.
By late summer of 1990, Browning was saying there was a "50/50" chance of a big earthquake within a five-day period around December 3 if not on the New Madrid fault, then near Tokyo or in California or somewhere in the northern hemisphere. Again, the papers repeated his prediction, and again they quoted experts who said it was bunk.
Then things began to snowball. Every time the Browning prediction was headlined, the public reacted and every time the public reacted, the prediction was headlined. Sales of earthquake insurance went up and the media wrote about it. Local emergency management officials held earthquake drills and the media wrote about it. The media wrote about it, and people began making plans to get out of Memphis on December 3 and 4. The same thing was happening throughout the region.
By mid-autumn, the media saw what they had wrought, and began to backtrack. In October, they gave front-page coverage to a report from the National Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council saying Browning's prediction was bogus. It also turned out that transcripts of his 1989 speech proved Browning had not predicted the San Francisco quake. He hadn't even mentioned it.
But again, it was too late. For whatever reasons, a lot of people decided to believe Browning, not the experts.
Soon the press found itself forced to cover news it had itself generated. At first, it seemed reluctant but by the end, it too seemed to have caught the earthquake hysteria. Every television station in Memphis ran a special week-long series on earthquake predictions and preparedness. As December 3 approached, The Commercial Appeal began running a daily series called "Quake Watch," complete with both its own cracked-earth logo and (trying to have it both ways) a disclaimer saying the quake prediction had been discounted by experts. The series covered everything from rumors of boiling lakes to instructions for boiling water.
As the date of the prediction approached, the little town of New Madrid, MO, was so overrun with media that all the motels were full, some citizens went into hiding, and reporters were reduced to interviewing each other.
One editor, Jim Paxton, of The Paducah Sun, in Kentucky, finally had enough. In November, he declared a moratorium on earthquake news in his newspaper, noting that the media had "played a major role in creating fear and hysteria." His was a lone voice in the wilderness.
The public, meanwhile, its fears stoked by media hype, made its own plans for Earthquake Day. Many schools in four states closed. Schools that stayed open told students to bring three-day emergency rations with them or else stay home. Once-a-year charity benefits scheduled for December 2 and 3 were cancelled for fear no one would show up. Businesses closed. Supermarkets sold out of bottled water, candles, and flashlight batteries. Children had nightmares. Parents had nightmares. Everyone had nightmares.
December 3 came and went, not with a bang but a wimper.
Even before, the press began what promises to be a long period of self-recrimination. On November 30, for example, The Courier-Journal, in Louisville, ran a page-one story citing the media's irresponsibility in reporting Browning's prediction. Some experts suggested that science-ignorant reporters were to blame; others said the press wasn't sufficiently skeptical of Browning's claims. A few said that the press had done the public a service by at least increasing awareness of the need to be prepared; a few others said that because of the press, the public would now fail to take earthquake preparedness seriously.
At the P&H, meanwhile, 15 minutes before the "Earthquake Eve" party was scheduled to start on December 2, the phone rang. A reporter wanted to know all about the party and the quake. He was calling from a radio station. In Tokyo.

Hey McCain-----┌П┐(◣_◢)┌П┐
they had predicted
the pnw - vancouver area for the 10-12th before...did they change that one?
Jim Berkland agrees
Per Berkland: There's an 85% probability of seismic activity during the window of Dec. 12 -13th, 2008, due to a full moon and very high tides, he said. Normally active areas such as the West Coast would be the likeliest locations for earthquakes during this time.
the WebBots and Fema are suggesting New Madrid Area.
there is always a TON of activity in california and alaska but not a lot in the new madrid area sooooo i don't know what gives.
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/
less activity
equals bigger quake.
Then no activity must mean... the end of the world?
