Ever Heard of the Selective Service System?
This type of system is kind of already in place. Its meant more for a draft, but the Selective Service System (SSS) has been collecting names of our youth for years in case of a draft. Most people dont even know that they have submitted their information, but if you have ever requested financial aid, your name has been added. The worst part is that it is mandatory to sign up with the SSS if you are between the ages of 18 and 25. They claim that there is no excuse not to (cant even claim religious beliefs).
I know this is a little off topic, but I just wanted to illustrate how easy it is to get people to (unknowingly?) volunteer. It just shows how the government really feels about us...natural resource.

While i was reading about this "service",it dawned on me that they talk about this country being free and all the liberty we have.Then the people are forced to serve,how ironic.Enlistment into the military would sky rocket if this was a constitutional government.Many would be proud to protect our borders and not nation building,policing the world or chasing the boogeyman.

"To deal with recruiting and retention problems, the Center for National Policy recommends lifting the military’s ban on OPEN service by gays," (I'm assuming the "ban" they're speaking of lifting is the former great liberal military compromise: "Don't ask; don't tell.") So much for great liberal military compromises.
This has to be the most deliberate attempt to destroy what's left of the US military. Once they gain control, wow! It won't be fit for (straight) man or beast.

Manditory national service is simply another way of spelling
"involuntary servitude", with no requirement that one be convicted of a crime. Unfortunately, and for generations, citizens have been widely regarded as "resources" (a PC word for "property") by their government(s).

Here's another example how under the disguise of national security they want all young people in the military.
This is nothing but a desperate attempt for the morons in the military to make themselves more relevant. They want to do this by forcing more people in the military than there are which will help them increase their numbers, get more money to finance the expansion in staff which will translate in higher salaries/power/waste.
The Military Union is dead and the morons over there need to give it up. Shut up and go back to your pathetic rathole! Too bad you're not the only sloths at the government trough. And don't even think of cooking up another provocation to suck us into your idiotic services.

Where I come from, those are fighting words. People are going to hit the streets if they keep pushing for this.
Is it me, or does it seem like the Establishment is trying to provoke the citizenry into open violent revolt? Over and over we hear about another overstep or abuse of power, violation of law, crimes against humanity and torture of regular everyday citizens. This is just a short list of things that really piss me off. These and the fact people can't even enjoy the beach or park after 10pm here in L.A. Those little freedoms are disappearing right before my eyes.
One of the main reasons I choose not to have children is because of the current political system in this country. It's this type of encroachment and tyrannical violation that will force good men and women to do whatever it takes to protect their children. Still the state acts as if they own us and our progeny. What arrogance and misconception they have. We are but chattel to them. Meat upon their plate.
I can't say this was a surprise. This has been coming down the pipeline for quite a while. God forbid.
