Sorry to bump an old, tired thread
but I wanted to give firsthand witness that yes, the vandalism was real. I made an anti-pilgrimage of sorts, my very first visit to the stones, in the past couple of days. Unfortunately, I didn't have my frimpin' camera with me or else I'd find a way to show y'all some updated pics.
The more conspiracy-minded amongst us might be interested to note that most of the vandalism has faded to the point of illegibility, except on the stone with the description on it which is still just like the picture on inforwars. I can't tell if someone has been trying to clean it or if it's just washed away naturally -- the Elberton area seems to have had some rain this past week.
Excepting the description stone, the only thing that can still be read to any degree is "Rockefeller sucs". Some slabs are completely clean.
There's an additional concrete slab there on the eastern side of the monument, roughly symetrically opposite from the description marker which is on the west end. It looks like someone tried to crowbar it up, but wasn't successful at it.
One big mystery to me is, who mows the grass at this marker? It's surrounded by farmland, and the brush growing on that land is several feet high. Someone is paying for a very short manicure on the lawn on this property. I'm curious as to the source of the funds.
There were several weird items I observed about the property, about the surrounding area (who names a road "Bio Church Rd"?), about some of the positioning of the text on the description marker (Babylonian cuneiform in the northernmost position, interesting), and even some very strange little pebbles that I couldn't identify that caught my eye (translucent with streaks of green?). The text in Russian is slightly different (the last line does not repeat twice as in the others), and contains punctuation that is not included in the English version; a minor weirdness but indicative of more than one chef in this particular kitchen.
Further research indicates that the owner of record is "Elber County BOC", which is probably a legitimate trust, which shrouds the beneficiary, who is either the real owner, or in turn another layer of protection around the real owner.
I strongly recommend a trip to the stones to anyone who likes a good mystery. My visit was extremely surreal. I may hate the stones and what they stand for, but I can honestly say I had a great day when I went.
Yeah, so I wear a tinfoil hat from time to time. It's probably healthy to exercise a moderate portion of paranoia from time to time, so long as it doesn't take over your life. I'll stow away said hat and get back to work now.

Does anybody else think this vandalism looks like a set up?
I mean, I think it was actually done. But it looks like a set up. For one, whoever did it seems to know a lot about our platforms but can't seem to spell. I highly doubt anyone that well read wouldn't be able to spell. Secondly, why is it that something intellectual like understanding the NWO is followed by Obama is a muslim and so and so sucks dick? I think this is a set up to make us look bad.

If "Ron Paul" was scrawled on there I might be inclined to agree with you. There are millions of people who hate the New World Order, millions who watch Youtubes about the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, even millions who fit that description who voted for McCain and Palin.

So why would the granite company clean it up? I find that strange. Too bad whoever did it didn't just go ahead and make it unable to be "repaired" . I would of thought maybe plastering over all the words with quick dry cement at least!

The Granite Assn built the things, from what the
history says, so I imagine they feel a certain responsibility to maintain them.
From the articles I have read, the ownership of the land is uncertain. Some seem to think it was part of a farm, and some think it has since been deeded to the county.
If it is public land, it does not surprise me the county does not know it. I've lived in places where they have spent millions of $ to conduct a "census" of public tracts of land: going out and physically checking various lands believed to be owned by the county and verifying whether said lands exist, whether they are still publicly owned, and then trying to certify the status of questionable lands. It seems inconceivable that a county could not know exactly what lands it owns, but I've seen it before.

Yeah, I don't know, people seem to blow the guidestones out of proportion if you ask me. Maintaining population at 500million does not directly imply that the population now must be mowed down, right now. In fact, population control can be done very consciously if people wisen up, we don't need the NWO killing everyone in camps, we can self-limit our offspring, but that would be too much to ask I"m sure. ..
As for the whole world court thing, well if you look it says that all nations should basically take care of their own business, but when two nations have a squabble, it should be settled by a world court, for all the world to see, instead of invading each other and continuing the pointless killing of our fellow talking monkeys.
As for embracing or aligning with the infinite or however it was put, well, how is that a bad philosophy considering we are surrounded by the infinite at this very moment? Sure, fundamentalists will disagree, but they are counter-productive to humanity and eventually one would hope that they'll diminish in population and all move to an island where they can fight over their versions of some sadistic bearded guy in the heavens. . .
Yeah, the kid was misguided, the Rockefellers I"m sure are laughing, and this kid thinks Satan is real. . .real show of intelligence here.

We have the resources to make every single person in this world live VERY comfortably. Conditions to make large population appear to be a problem are all engineered by the Rockefellers and Rothschilds via their man-made diseases (AIDS), control of crop seeds (Monsanto), concentration of all the wealth at the top via wicked central banking practices...the list is virtually endless.

You guys should Google "Yuri Bezmenov" and watch his interview with G Edward Griffin, he displays many of my own sentiments about the elite and what to be done about them!
People lacking wisdom(the ability to see yourself in your everyday context and also in the context of the "bigger picture" and then being able to balance those two viewpoints and act upon them) is what is mucking things up, plain and simple. The elites have only as much control as is acceded to them by the population, these people play on a very large and sophisticated field and its time to start playing on it as well. I'm sorry, but having rallies to "end the fed!" is laughable in their view as it's completely ineffectual, a distraction that gives people the impression that they've accomplished something.
I would also highly suggest a book by Wilhelm Reich, The Murder of Christ, I agree very much with what Reich talks about in this book and it is invaluable to this movement.

I don't see how point one implies totalitarianism, it just says to maintain the population at a certain number. I does not say how to accomplish this and in our fear-addled minds a totalitarian takeover replete with concentration camps and mega deaths are the only way! It's a pity because their are so many more optimistic visions for humanity that do not include such horrible fantasies!
