When were these monuments erected and by who? Who paid for it and how were they allowed to be set up? Who was governor/senator when this happened? Was there a 'ribbon cutting' ceremony? Who attended?
Sorry for all the questions but I was only made aware of these things a few days ago and don't understand why they are still standing in my country.

to the number 322 besides just that it is the address of Skull and bones?

Marks first day of spring which indicates one would erect the stones on that day so the holes could be properly lined up with the sun. IMHO.
