He wasn't warned of them approaching, (early warning detection around the perimeter of his property) and could have taken care of them and their vechicles. They were belligerently tresspassing on his property. It doesn't matter if they were "the law" or not.

It seems to me that cops are brainwashed to buy into their own superiority. Think about it...the actions of cops are no longer founded in law or principle, they are founded in exercising as much power over you as possible. They are founded on finding any and every excuse to arrest you.
It's sad, but this attitude is the reason that most people cower in fear when they are confronted by police.
