Daily Paul Site Issues

Dear Readers,

Last night the website crashed very badly. My hosting provider had to purge the server and reinstall nearly everything. The result is that the site is back up and running, but there are some issues. A major issue is that it appears no one is able to log in at the present time. I apologize for these problems and I ask for your patience. I'm doing my best to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

In the mean time, if you can't log in, please take the time to read my Open Letter to CNN, and if you agree with it, to email or call CNN requesting a clarification, retraction and apology for calling the 40,000 peaceful Americans who donated to Ron Paul on November 5th terrorists. This is too far. How dare they.

Thanks for keeping this up. I'm also a web developer. I know how cumbersome a project of this scale can become. Please contact me if you feel there is anything I can do to help.

I was a little paranoid that "they" got to you, but glad to see your growing pains are just that.

Here's a new website that can be an excellent platform for organizing the best information coming from Daily Paul. It's brand new, so the number of posts are few. If you take a look, and add a couple of your favorite items in the appropriate category, this site may prove to be a good way to keep track of Ron Paul related information. Perhaps take some of the strain off of Daily Paul, too?

I think we are killin Michael's server ... there are so many of us ... by all means use DD ...thats why I put it up ... EVERYone is more than welcome to post away ....

There are currently 57 users and 551 guests online.

thats a lot of heat on the server and Drupal is rough on some servers to boot .. I just dont wanna see Michael pullin' his hair out or the server being over run ...

BUT it is a good thing it means we are workin' in the streets to bring more people to RP , it means we are expanding .... it's a great thing to watch ...

growing pains?

But I am logged on now and was last night when it finally came back up.
