It seems they did not understand what he was saying...

Even the caption got it the opposite way. These people are to be treated as pre-elementary in their level of knowledge of economics. I think Ron Paul tried to say too much in too little time - Ron Paul supporters understood every word he said, but to the unaware it's triple Dutch spiced with Greek.

Media Headline States Exact Opposite of What Ron Paul Said

Not a twist, not a spin, complete fraud:

Ron Paul: "It wasn't the lack of regulation..."

News Headline: "Paul says we need more regulation..."

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

End the SEC.

I agree with Paul on that. The SEC should be abolished.

He was kind of rambling in this interview though. What's he talking about that they've "legalized risk?"

-------
The Fed is not a private bank. PRIVATIZE THE FED!!!
"The Federal Reserve Banks should simply be regarded as governmental agencies." -Murray Rothbard
"I now call the Federal Reserve the fourth branch of government." -Ron Paul

Being Right Just Isn't Enough

Look Dr. Paul is great. He's even right. He's still getting more media attention after the campaign. People are waking up. But is being right even enough?

http://www.commonliberties.com

He's right again...

Dr. Paul doesn't miss a beat.

Social Security...The biggest Ponzi Scheme ever!
SEC should be abolished...
And Federal Reserve was cause of all this.

And NOW they're doing the very same things which caused the problem in the FIRST place...Lowering interest rates artificially to unrealistic levels.

WHY would banks want to lend money out at such ridiculous rates of return???

This is why interest rates should be allowed to flucuate naturally by market forces.

If I were a banker flush with taxpayer bailout money I would use it to buy solid dividend paying stocks like GE which is at 7% right now.

So I would make 7% PLUS the possibility of the stock going up as compared with the near zero rate that the Fed just dictated.

No rocket science necessary here!!!

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

ROOM TEMP IQ(hehehe) LOVE IT, if you don’t mind, I will use it

WHY does this ROOM TEMP IQ, bimbo try to contradict Ron Paul about economics. She stammers and stutters’ , in an attempt to interrupt him b/c she thinks she has a good argument against him.

*austrianschool, thank you for this one, I have all kinds of uses for this one.

Watch closely at 1:05

Between 1:03 and 1:11, Paul uses the words regulate the counter fitting of money, and the closed captioning changes counter fitting to printing.

It's sick how the media is used to control people's thoughts and twist words.

Well, the people who read

at any rate.

I made a digg regarding the "error"

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.

We do something that doesn't work, so the cure is to do

even more of the same thing. Dr. Paul interviewed by room temperature IQ.

exactly what I was thinking

What a waste of my time. She is useless.

LOL!

Room temperature IQ! Haven't heard that one before! Nice! :)

Don't you love it

At the moment Paul says that it's not a matter of regulations, that more regulations aren't the answer, the ticker below says
"Ron Paul calls for more regulations"

Wow.

stop the insanity!

I get home from a hard day at work, and this is what greets me.
I don't know how much longer I can take this.

It creates cognitive dissonance.

People think they understand what Dr. Paul is saying, and then the TV goes and tells them something else.

In the same ticker, it says that Dr. Paul calls the SEC inept. How about, leave out the 'SEC inept' part for another ticker, and add "on the Federal Reserve" to this one instead?

They're trying to confuse viewers. They're twisting his words and taking things out of context. Subversive.

yep.

.

It's freaky

I missed that on the first view. They did this kind of thing lots during the primaries.

"Tyrants fear nothing more than insubordination"

"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"

yep I saw that... what a

yep I saw that... what a bunch of fools! no wonder why everything is so screwed up... morons and idiots are in control!

First thing I noticed too.

First thing I noticed too. Dimwits!

Exactly what caught my eye

Amazing how they mis-represent Ron every chance they get.

And Why Not?

Pulled my child from public school. Among too many things to list. Kids are now "required" to retake a test that has anything below an A or B, I believe, until they achieve at least a B. Can't say how many times they are allowed to retest, as my child was only twice, required to "retake". But was instead one of the frustrated ones, who came prepared and got the "A" first time out. Was feeling less incentive to get the A first time, as didn't seem "fair" to allow this "retesting" unlimited times to get the same grade, the prepared student had already achieved. Just another case of "propping up". Regulation, is a grand thing, we just need more.

What is it about?

I can't view it, can someone tell me what he's taking about?

How about a brief description?

He is talking about the

He is talking about the Madoff "ponzi scheme" and relating the fact that the SEC, with all its regulatory power couldn't prevent the fraud. He also mentioned the fact that Social Security is the ultimate "ponzi scheme" and why should we expect private citizens to obey the law when the government doesn't obey it.

Hey McCain-----┌П┐(◣_◢)┌П┐

It's just laughable

That so many now are calling out for more regulations and intervention in the market place to prevent failure.

I wouldn't be surprised if football officials began giving one team as many chances as they need to make the Hail Mary pass work at the end of the game.

"Tyrants fear nothing more than insubordination"

"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"

Amusing that the closed

Amusing that the closed caption substituted "printing money" for Dr. Paul's more vivid phrase "counterfeiting money."

I also noticed that the closed captioning left out "Ponzi scheme" for Dr. Paul's description of Social Security.
