Ways to End the Federal Reserve
Here are the Ways to End the Federal Reserve System that I currently see:
1) End the FED movement (Supports Ron Paul Sponsored HR2755) join up or make a local group at www.endthefed.us
2) Support Ron Paul's other legislation to have free competition in currency:

(passed after Von Nothaus's alternative currency was raided and stolen by the government)
3) American Open Currency Standard: The non political way to make all money gold or silver : www.opencurrency.com/ (become a merchant or a distributor)
4) Join up at http://ripplepay.com . You loan credit to friends and family-hopefully increasing your credit pool to merchants who sell needed items-or just trade and barter amongst other ripple pay users.
5) Become a precinct leader in your community. The best I've found to teach people how to do this is at www.campaignforliberty.com. Get the local markets in your precinct or area to accept alternative or local currencies. I've started a facebook group. E-mail me if you want to join.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

I think the FED is done anyway...
I am now under the impression that the FED is on its way out regardless of what anyone does.
I think there WILL be a successful fringe populist movement to rid ourselves of the FED within a few years.
I think there WILL be a move to create a global gold backed pixel money as opposed to paper money. (Its the same principle as paper but cheaper to produce)
I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make, or if there is anything to prove...but this is what I think is going to happen.

Making a secession of a state with creating its own currency there!
That will wake up the whole United States, they will look to this state. At the end, this state could have its own currency and all other states will follow because its monetary system will be better.
Voilá! Then you have one United States and a new currency/monetary system!
That means starting without this issue, but ending with it.

Interesting that four years ago (as Dr. Paul has repeated), Bush ran on no policing of the world, no misadventures around the world, blah, blah, blah.

I can tell you...
that at least once during the presidential primaries debate, that Dr. Paul even said that Bush had ran on no policing the world, etc., when they accused the good Dr. of not being republican enough. Fact are facts. The elite always pat their own backs whether right or wrong and the rest of us little people don't matter. Of course Daddy Bush is going to stroke his boy along..but that's what dad's sometimes do and keep in mind that Daddy wasn't all that sharp either.
I think being a precinct leader helps the most.
It's a lot easier to win over your local community. A LOT!

Government does not allow any competing currencies via it's legal tender laws. Government forces the Federal Reserve to have a monopoly.

The Constitution for the United States of America states "No state shall...make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts..." Article 1, Section 10.
Since the Federal Reserve System has hijacked our economy the value of the dollar has fallen 96% (candy used to cost a penny because a penny was backed by something).

Held End The Fed
I am helping to reach out to our politicians and public who should be sympathetic to a collective cause to end the private banking cartel of the Federal Reserve. I believe this is the best opportunity to take action to stimulate the economy in a manner that was intended by our founding fathers, by giving American's back their money.
The financial collapse has many in the United States scratching their heads to figure out what the heck is going on. I believe the answer and solution to our troubles can be found by eliminating the Federal Reserve, which would then allow for the removal of all Federal Income Taxes.
After reading President Ronald Reagan’s Grace Commission, I have found some interesting information that perhaps our public and politicians are not familiar. According to this specific report, all IRS tax dollars are simply paying interest on the money that the Federal Reserve creates. The funds collected by the Internal Revenue Service are not paying for our national defense or any other government functions.
The Grace Commission Report specifically outlines where our unconstitutional Federal Income Tax money is going and I hope to encourage others to become familiar with this report’s details. Many millions in the United States are starting to see this fact about our Federal Income Tax and we are tired of being robbed in the name of a private banking cartel.
Without the Federal Reserve a Federal Income tax would no longer be needed. What would that do for the prosperity of America? This would mean great things for all of liberty and us too. This is what our founders intended in the establishment of the Constitutional Republic of America.

Convince more people to use gold and silver
Simple really. To end the fed, convince more people to use gold and silver as money.
You don't have to convince everyone, or half, or even 10% of the people to use gold as money. Just enough to reach critical mass so that all the benefits of a modern banking system are there with none of the drawbacks.
Lots of countries have had "duel" currencies. Remember when the dollar was king and a U.S. tourist could go to Russia and buy anything with dollars while no one wanted rubles? The same thing could happen here only dollars are crap and everyone wants gold.
The best part? Gold and silver money is already available and coined. American Eagles are legal, easy to find and use, and are fully backed.
So what are you waiting for? Use gold and silver money every chance you get. And bring other people on board with using gold and silver as money.
Even better, if you have employees, pay them in gold/silver...
Speaking of Russia (for the record, I am Russian, grew up there and was still living there back in 90s), total collapse of rouble was, indeed, mostly due to competition from (then!) better currency, namely USD.
The main difference between working for a private company (even if a tiny little kiosk on a street corner) and working for a state organisation was that in the former case your salary was negotiated (and paid!) in US dollars, rather than in roubles (about $600/month was considered pretty good middle-class salary :) ).
Now, to pay for goods and services you would exchange your $$ for roubles at current rate (when needed) on any street corner. For more expensive things (think, a stereo, or a toaster :) ) prices in stores were marked in USD.
Of course The State did not like this duality, so it quickly became illegal for stores to accept actual $$ and to set prices in them. So, all labels were re-marked to say "accounting units" (у.е.), which, for some strange reasons, were 1-to-1 with USD. And each store would also have a little "Currency Exchange" window (with, generally, worse rates than out on the street...). Last time I was there (this last Spring), I think I still saw "accounting units", but now they are equal to one Euro.
So, guys and gals, if you have your business, offer to start paying your employees in *good* money (gold and silver). Even if you do nor want to go the tax savings route (remember that guy who won his case with IRS: "I paid them with a US coin which had $5 stamped on it, why should I tell IRS that I paid them more than $5?"), you would still be considered more honest and solvent business by those who know, and having your cash reserves in good money would not hurt you either!
