Yep---The bankers have gotten away with it again

And each time they do it we become a little more Socialist and lose more freedom.

Murray Rothbard predicted this in his book "What Has Government Done To Our Money?"

It was written years ago.

He could predict it perfectly because they have done it so many times in the past.

On their way to a world currency. Absolutely CRIMINAL.

Paulson belongs in prison for treason -- followed closely by Bernanke.

These two tyrants are taking this country DOWN.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I can't believe you

I can't believe you *radical* *anarchists* are discussing ways to end America. Perhaps Socialist party chairman Obama should send you all to re-education. /satire

Just be careful people.. make sure you always use peaceful solutions to problems because the state can easily get rid of you if you are violent radicals.. They know how to deal with violence, but if you are peaceful sensible people they will have a hard time fighting you, they have to fight you on the merit of your ideas and that is much more difficult.

Would they??? LOL Or if they

Would they??? LOL

Or if they wanted to retaliate for years of oppressive policies toward their homeland. Wouldn't they pick more significant targets? Like say, the administration itself. Or the politicians and banksters.

"Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

If I were a terrorist I would give myself a real terrorist name.

You know something like... Barrack Hussein Obama.

Something that all of my terrorist friends could relate to and respect.

Then I would pretend to be a Christian and an American while working the political machine so I could be installed as their leader.

Once I was their leader I would make them worship me as a Messiah. I would use their military like the most arrogant warlord in Afghanistan. In fact, I'd send them to Afghanistan to kick his ass so he knows who's the numba one Jihadist.

A lot of people would hate me and threaten to rise up, but after the economy collapses and I declare martial law, I will purge the country of these people.

In fact I will make it so they are the 'terrorists'.

I will become a hero to Muslims everywhere.

I will bring hope that they too can overthrow the West and take power from the ignorant and stupid.

It is Allah's will.

I like it

very funny!

That's hot

If the shoe fits, throw it.

If I wanted to destroy the American way of life, I would

DO NOTHING.

It has already been done by decades of collectivist government.

Grant to private banks the privilege of printing up currency and checking accounts and loaning them into existence, so that all our money is bank debt subject to inflation and possible deflationary collapse, not to mention the great transfer of wealth that the interest payments cause.

Government take over of education for the purpose of indoctrination.

Imposition of an income tax, along with significant estate and gift taxes.

Government management of the economy.

Ignore the Constitution.

"The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence." Thomas H. Huxley

If the government wanted to save the American way of life, they

would DO NOTHING.

And a Merry Christmas to you

The daily doom scenario

Just reality

Christmas is not meant for celebration any more, its true meaning has been lost. It is now all about stress, guilt, feeling poor and feeling forced to spend money you don't have for people you don't want to be around the rest of the year.

This guy is no Ron Paul

More like the anti-Ron Paul. This guy supports:

- "Kick folks out of their houses" - Um, the problem was caused by the government forcing banks to give loans to people who had NO income and NO collateral! They never even owned a home in the first place to be kicked out of!

- Outsourcing is a good thing. There should be no limitations on US companies who want to try outsourcing. Ron Paul has no problem with free trade and outsourcing.

- "Make education unaffordable" - well, I agree with him here if he is talking about making education more free-market oriented. If he is talking about the government "helping" then he is ridiculous.

- "Make health-care difficult to get" - I know exactly what he wants. He wants the government to give health-care to everyone, which of course destroys it.

- "Let the insurance companies just get away with murder" - Riiiight. Spoken like a true socialist. No doubt his "solution" is more regulations.

- He is against tax cuts!

This guy is a simpleton. He isn't red, white and blue he's just red to the core.

Register as Republican and Vote for Ron Paul

Who's the simpleton?

The guy never claims to be Ron Paul, so your title makes no sense. Sounds like you're commenting on your own ideas rather than listening to what he's saying, and the result is a lot of nonsense.

What you don't seem to understand is that the entire economic mess that is taking place now is taking place within the context of the Federal Reserve System. The people never owned homes to begin with because that was never the intention of the banks - Federal Reserve members - that gave them the loans and facilitated the entire process.

Within the context of the larger economic system, created, influenced and managed by the Fed, there is no such thing as free trade or free markets. That being the case, how can outsourcing, within the context of this rigged system, be good? How can components of a rotten system be defended piecemeal?

We don't have a free market in health care, Brian "I know exactly what he wants." He never said that he wants the government to give health care, or education, so again, I don't know how you could "know" that unless you are a remote mindreader. Again, It appears that you're reacting to your own self rather that what the guy is saying.

"Let the insurance companies get away with murder." Um, I guess you've never heard of AIG, one of the the biggest insurance companies in the world that so mismanaged itself that it needed a government bailout with taxpayer money. Dude, that is socialism already. Privatize the profits, socialize the risks. You're for that?

This guy is a simpleton. He isn't red, white and blue he's just red to the core.

Brian, please don't bore us with your interminable analysis, strained reasoning and ad hominem attacks. Name calling doesn't help your weak arguments and is better left for the grade school playground.

That's debatable

I don't think the Fed was intending to do anything to home owners, they were just following the lead of Barney Frank and the rest who thought they could increase home ownership by intervening with financial companies. And I think these "Progressives" legitimately believed their policies would help people, when in fact it has kicked off a massive disaster that will cause a decade of suffering for all but the wealthiest. They are just stupid and misguided people who hold the wrong philosophies mixed with people who see a way to benefit from government interventions.

As for outsourcing, the fact is Ron Paul opposes limiting US businessmen this way. He thinks there should be no restraints against free trade (other than basic property rights), including outsourcing. And from a theoretical Austrian point of view, outsourcing is a great thing for all parties (the businessman, the consumer, and the foreign worker - and long term, even the American worker).

If this guy said ONE SINGLE THING that made me think he understood freedom and believed in it, I would give him some leeway on health care. But he didn't say anything that sounded libertarian. The moderator who posted this video hasn't listened very carefully to the things Ron Paul has been saying. I mean it's pretty obvious this guy is the antithesis of Ron Paul's philosophy.

Who's the antithesis of Ron Paul?

What Ron Paul has is compassion, something clearly lacking in your posts.

He would never say anyone is "stupid," nor would he be so arrogant to assume that he knows what others are thinking.

Tsk, tsk.

It's true

It's true, I don't have the patience of Ron Paul and I've seen very few libertarians who do. He is a rare breed.

He's talking about what's currently happening

This what we call "Irony". He is delcately pointing out who the real terroists are and what methods they are currently employing. But you knew that already, didn't you?

I don't think you got it

He's saying, "If I were a terrorist, I would cut taxes."

Well, if you were Ron Paul you would also cut taxes. Is Ron Paul a terrorist?

Understand now?

You need to study what

You need to study what happened in the great depression...
- it was a banking/elite conspiracy to consolidate banks and corporations for pennies on the dollar. Right now the same thing is happening but on a global scale.

Ron Paul is not for outsourcing! He is not for NAFTA and CAFTA or the North American Union/SPP either.

Read about Dr. Paul on health care he thinks its completely broken and it is difficult to get because it too expensive for millions of people.

The insurance companies are getting away with murder... what planet do you live on?

"The use of 'Conspiracy Theorist' or 'Truther' as a derogatory -- as an epithet almost -- is something the propagandists have perfected over the decades, and it's a useful tool for eliminating articulate dissent."

you don't have a

you don't have a clue.

here's some reading for you.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul339.html

You need to listen to him harder

--"Ron Paul is not for outsourcing! He is not for NAFTA and CAFTA or the North American Union/SPP either."

He is against these because they are NOT for free trade! NAFTA has provisions in it for protecting unions for Pete's sake. Ron Paul would never advocate getting in the way of US businessmen by preventing them from doing things like outsourcing.

--"Read about Dr. Paul on health care he thinks its completely broken and it is difficult to get because it too expensive for millions of people."

And his solution is... (hint: free markets)

--"The insurance companies are getting away with murder... what planet do you live on?"

I challenge you to find one statement by Ron Paul where he is laying any blame for our woes on insurance companies. He places blame exactly where it should be: the government.

As for me not knowing about the depression, I'm well acquainted with the Austrian theories on the depression (the ones Ron Paul talks about) and agree whole heartedly with them.

He is first and foremost for

He is first and foremost for protecting our national sovereignty which is being threatened by international corporations that no longer have any loyalty to the people of the US. Some of that has to do with outsourcing our manufacturing and production of goods.

He specifically says that insurance companies are in the way of and the root of the extreme costs of health care along with large hospitals and the pharmaceutical corporations.

"Well, we’ve had managed care, now, for about 35 years. It’s not working, and nobody’s happy with it. The doctors aren’t happy. The patients aren’t happy. Nobody seems to be happy--except the corporations, the drug companies and the HMOs"

He has never blamed international corporations!

Ron Paul has nothing against the concept of international corporations! He is against government interference in the free markets, and that is all. And he has no problem at all with outsourcing jobs. You've really missed the boat here.

--"He specifically says that insurance companies are in the way of and the root of the extreme costs of health care along with large hospitals and the pharmaceutical corporations."

Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. Name one instance of him saying that "insurance companies are... the root of the extreme costs". That is so much crap and surely you know it. He has never stated anything close to that.

Again, I challenge you to find a statement where he blames the health care problems on the insurance companies. Go ahead, try to find him laying blame with them.

In you're quote about him mentioning "managed health care" he is of course talking about managed care BY THE GOVERNMENT. He's certainly not against the concept of drug companies! He loves drug companies and sees them as a valuable part of the medical industry. He doesn't like government interference that artificially protects the large companies, but that's kind of a no brainer.

HMO - : an organization that

HMO - : an organization that provides comprehensive health care to voluntarily enrolled individuals and families in a particular geographic area by member physicians with limited referral to outside specialists and that is financed by fixed periodic payments determined in advance -- called also health maintenance organization

PPO: : an organization providing health care that gives economic incentives to the individual purchaser of a health-care contract to patronize certain physicians, laboratories, and hospitals which agree to supervision and reduced fees -- called also preferred provider organization

Both of these are for profit corporations not a Government bureaucracies.

HMO was created by Congress in 1973

The HMO is similar to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. They were created in 1973 by Congress and are creations of government, and of course, are failing miserably:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_Maintenance_Organization...

Contrary to what you contest, they are government bureaucracies!

Now, are you going to find a quote of Ron Paul blaming insurance companies or are you going to admit that he does not blame them? This debate is similar to previous debates where you will absolutely not concede anything, even when it is proven right in front of your eyes. You are a very intellectually dishonest person, which makes it kind of pointless to debate with you.

For-Profit HMOs Provide Worse Quality Care

Health maintenance organizations' profits jumped to $6.7 billion in the first three quarters of 2003, up from $4.4 billion in 2002, according to a Weiss Ratings study of financial statements filed with state insurance departments.

More and more HMO non-profit organizations have moved out of the shadows to for profit (or Privatization) after the customers have bared the burden of paying start-up costs.
Socialized cost and Privatized profits... sound familiar.
America = Corporatism/Fascism

Dr. Ron Bronow:: I believe that the health care system as we know it today is deteriorating because of the for-profit HMOs. The needs of the patients and certainly the rights of the physician to do his or her best are being strangled by the corporate juggernaut. It's time for the patients to stand and fight for the medical rights. If patients want to find out how, we have a group called Patients Who Care. Our Web site is www.patients.org... find out what you can do and how patients can unite to fight for their rights.

For-Profit HMOs Provide Worse Quality Care
In this 1999 JAMA study, Drs. David Himmelstein, Steffie Woolhandler, Ida Hellander and Sidney Wolfe examined the performance of for-profit HMOs vs. nonprofit HMOs on 14 quality-of-care indicators. Compared to the nonprofits, for-profit HMOs performed worse on all 14 care indicators. After controlling for HMO model type, geographic region and method of data collection, the researchers found investor-ownership to be consistently associated with lower quality care.

What any of that has to do with the discussion we were having is a mystery. I guess you realized you said some questionable things and are now trying to either ignore what you said or else distract with random gibberish.

Try conceding some points when you are faced with evidence and maybe people will begin to respect that you are actually seeking truth.
