I think I'm going to give a 10-set DVD collection to my postlady this year.
So far I have:
Fiat Empire
Freedom-to-Fascism
The Money Masters
Constitution Class
Money as Debt
Anyone else have any ideas as to what to "get her" this year?
Wouldn't it be just a wonderful thing if post-persons around this country received DVDs for Christmas?

Not a documentary, but at least if she wants a break from the documentaries she can have something related
DVD collections are okay
DVD collections are okay together with a box of popcorn to truly enjoy the movies and have a great time..

My son gave
me "The Fog of War" about Viet Nam and "No end in sight" about the Iraq war. I thought they were very enlightening and shows how the government is corrupt and lies. Good luck

That sounds like a good title for the quagmire we're in... Thanks

thanks for remembering the letter carriers !!!
As the wife of a hard working, Ron Paul supporting letter carrier, I just want to chime in and thank all of you for your kind words for these carriers.
My husband used to have a residential city route and received many gifts at Christmas including food, lottery tickets, gift certificates and cash. He truly appeciated every one of them.
I think the DVD idea is great. My husband passed around our Freedom to Fascism and Meet Ron Paul dvd's at work and tried to educate them. Only one guy among twenty agreed with him, everyone else thinks he's nuts now and kid him all the time. But they give him more respect now since we took his retirement out of the stock market fund while they all lost big time by leaving it in.
Merry Christmas to all !

I gave a Large bottle of Godiva Liquor (only drink this to create a new addiction) I love my letter carrier to pieces, she works so hard and is always cheerful. She knows we're big RP fans and she still loves us LOL. You never know when having them on your side will come in handy!
No Suggestions Anyone?

Truth Be Tolled
is a good documentary telling the real truth about the Trans-Texas Corridor (NAFTA Superhighway).
LOL!
Great Idea!
I know several postal workers, all of which are hard-working veterans that are doing their best to make up for the slackers that are protected by the union.
You should have heard the $h1t-talking when "our" guys showed up in the USPS parking lot with their RP stickers on their cars.....Just after the union endorsed Hillary. Good stuff.
Be kind to your mailman. They're easy to bash, but try not to judge until you've walked a mile in those hideous regulation shoes they have to wear.
I'm on a rural route and those rural carriers have a more difficult job (and less pay) than their city carrier counterparts. I always leave something as a gift for my carrier (small box of chocolate, home baked cookies, something).....Partly that also has to do with being in a small town where you will occasionally run into your mailman in the grocery store, etc.
BTW, if you check it out, you just might find that the USPS is not taxpayer-supported at all.....You might just find out that they are required to make a profit that is then put back into the Treasury to fund Congress' "pet projects" that have nothing to do with mail.
i'd never bash my mailman
wouldn't want to catch one between the eyes :b

My MailLady is great...
She's wonderful. Although she is terrified of my two collies (who could be afraid of Lassie?) I think she's really nice and we talk all the time.
I am going to give her the DVDs and hope others will do the same, but I need 5 more titles to make the "gift set" complete. :-)
Oh, and I am completely aware of how/when we went from the United States Post Office to the US POSTAL SERVICE. Wouldn't you just know it, it was the same time all the States went from multi-letter abbreviations to two letter upper-case abbreviations and the ZIP CODE was born. Hmm... I guess I still have that Coincidence Theorist's Guide stuck in my head! hahahaha
