Paul / Johnson 2012
The Good Doctor is healthier than most Americans half his age, but we can never completely rule out bad luck. If they both consent to it, I hope to be supporting Dr Paul and Gov Gary Johnson for the RepNom. Once the numbers come in, one can gracefully bow out and endorse the other. And, since I'm accustomed to getting flack for this (and other opinions) I'm not quite ready to rule our Gov Palin either. I'd be delighted ANY of the following tickets:
Paul/Johnson,
Paul/Palin,
Johnson/Paul, or
Johnson/Palin

Just kidding Dan Quayle was also incredibly fake and stupid on par with Palin. Sarah Palin is incredibly neo-conservative and incredibly dumb! Why waste an ounce of brain matter on her!? She is not Libertarian at all, and she is viewed by the general public as a religious nut.
Gary Johnson is great though. Replace all instances of Palin with Goldwater Jr.

Ok, this may be of small consequence, but people have said that Dr Paul looked a little too odd copmpared to other candidates? Have you seen Johnson's picture on Wikipedia? It makes him look like the geek on the Simpsons.
As far as Age, Wasn't Reagan 78 and president? DeGaulle 79?

I caught
Johnson on a talk show and he came over very well. Not so at C4L, he kept looking out from under his brow and kept his head down. Seemed affected some way. But I was very pleased to see him acting totally normal on the talk show and looked really good. I'll check wiki.
Oh, yeah, the wikipedia looks like the C4L. That is absurd. Surely he will not go back there. Hopefully someone will change that soon.

But image does matter. Especially in a world where people watch scripted events and take them for reality TV. To win, we need to manage image as much as message.

Let Be Objective on a 2012 Presidential Run
Okay, we to be objective on a 2012 Presidential Run. Doug Wead has tried to answer the age question. The problem is that the majority of voters in the Republican Party will not vote for someone who is 76 or 77. I believe we are making a huge mistake if we run Dr. Paul for a 2nd run for President. I would rather see Dr. Paul and his advocates be on the senior campaign staff to someone and passes the liberty torch. I have in the past pushed Gov. Gary Johnson former Governor of New Mexico.
Folks, the other Republicans already are pushing Gov. Mark Sanford of SC is the conservative choice for 2012. My question would you rather have someone like Gary Johnson or another liberty choice versus a Mark Sanford candidacy? I have heard Sanford has already raised over 2 million dollars for a 2012 Presidential run. We all know Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney are going to run again as well, plus you have the Sarah Palin factor.
