It is a very nice message, it gave a lot of tools to build a bridge of understanding.
However, the statement "and listen to his prophets" is where it goes off the deep end and the same reason a theocrat shouldn't be at the helm of a constitutional republic that has sunk into a socialistic democracy / oligarchy. Interpretation...
Just look at the Christian faith and all the denominations. You have people starting churches over musical instruments or others holding 900 year old grudges for the wrongs of some pope. One prophet may want to burn hippies and another marry 13 year old girls.
But, if everyone could come together on a few simple teachings of Jesus / Islam / and Christianity and make those the ruling principles for inter-religeous understanding then we do have a shot at world peace.
The Master does not demonize his "enemies" but see's them as human beings like himself.
The Fact that Mitt Romney Does NOT read his "opponents" mail disqualifies him for office.

His society is as brutal to his own citizens as Hussein was to his. Why would anyone honor this game player. He is more guilty in the game of provocation than our own government. Any words coming from a tongue as forked as his mean nothing. Have you forgotten the dead serious look on his face when he claimed they do not have homosexuals in Iran? Have you not seen him contradict himself time and time again? We have no business invading his country, neither do we have any business trusting him and glamourizing him.

I agree with you and the above post.
I do not think that the above post was an attack on the Iranian population's right to elect whomever they desire, but rather an observation on the nature and intent with which this message is espoused.

I can only hope that the people who watch FoxyNews see this and try and understand where this guy is coming from. He is not the "devil" that the so-called "conservative right" paints him out to be. I also hope that someday my family and I can visit Tehran for it truly is a beautiful city!
