Thanking positive reports
I think that as we search the web for any stories on Ron Paul, we should make it a point to thank the site/reporter/blogger whatever for a positive story or at least a balanced one. That way those who are getting the word out are rewarded by our hits being counted on their website. Im not sure but dont we make websites money when they write some outlandish innuendo, or even outright lie about Ron Paul and we bombard them with logic and reason? We cant change their mind because they dont care what we have to say, they just want the attention. So maybe we should do to them what MSM is doing to the greatest candidate ever, ignore them. You know that if a story title says something like Ron Paul is Insane isnt going to be positive, so lets resist the urge to convince them what idiots they are, trust me their family and friends already know. I mean we are HUGE! If our searches for stories and news are used strategically on an individual basis, thats some major money that our mere presence controls. So how about it?

I make it a point
it irritates me when I hear journalists complain about nasty emails from Ron Paul supporters - unless it's Glenn Beck. seriously, I try to be polite when I point out inaccuracies. it makes a good impression.
Canada Loves Ron Paul

I agree
It makes a lot more sense, logically, to re-inforce the positive reports. It would be great if profits flowed to those we most appreciate, etc.
Even with this recent outrage at Glenn Beck and CNN (justified!) wouldn't it make sense to invite an advertiser to withdraw their support by giving them our support here on Daily Paul? How about a free ad on Daily Paul for a company that publicly condemns Glenn Beck's accusations against us?
Anyway, yes! I agree with you, and I have sent out a few messages to thank my local paper and online resources that have reported on Ron Paul fairly and accurately. I even thanked Mr. Lepard for his ad to be produced in USA Today.
But there's something in human nature that gets energized by the negative and outrageous, something that requires a nasty reply...
Amen!
.... and when we write snail mail thanking the media for any coverage of RP... we are proving that we are not just Internet people....
