One goal
My only goal this year is hopefully unite the many freedom loving patriot groups like C4L, The Constitution Party, The Libertarian Party etc. in support of a major Constitutional issue; The right to Petition the Government concerning their many violations of the US Constitution (such as The Patriot Act, The War Powers Act, The Second Ammendment, Taxes just to name a few). Unless we unite, our seperate groups will never be able to overcome the major obstacles ahead. We truly are fighting for our liberty and our country's soul. I, like many others here at the DP, have financially supported the several freedom movement organizations. But, now, unless the leaders of these groups agree to come together in a joint Congress and work together to mass their members behind one Constitutional issue, I see no sense in continuing to support fragmented causes. I will stop my financial support of most if not all of the groups. I am hummbly calling on Dr. Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, Cynthia Mckinney and the many other freedom loving Constitutionists to consider uniting like our forefathers did against the tyranical King of our time, our Government. If I am wrong in my reasoning I would appreciate hearing from you, if you agree with me I would like hearing from you too.

Lots to do in 2009
-Attend C4L regional and state events in Texas (yes, they're already scheduled).
-Recruit at least 2 other C4L Precinct Leaders.
-Decide whether to stay with the GOP or jump to the Constitution Party....Then get involved in whichever I decide.
-State legislature meets again beginning in January....Many issues to address during that time.
-Continue opposition to the Trans-Texas Corridor.
-Give away another 50 copies of F2F.
-Build up a local property-rights group (small group started, we're in the building process now).
-Find a couple of solid candidates to run for local offices....Election is almost 2 year away, but the time to begin is now.
-Make sure that our county does not raise property tax rates to try to offset any decline in values.....Already have a pretty good network of people that will assist with monitoring and openly/loudly opposing any increase.
--Oh yes, the most important thing I've found.....HAVE FUN DOING ALL THIS STUFF! That makes it much easier.
I suggest
sticking with the republican party. I know there are those who don't agree with me, and to tell the truth I'm pretty fed up with the republican party myself right now, but there are advantages to belonging to one of the major parties over a third party, like getting to vote in primaries in closed states, and having more support if you think running for a public office yourself someday is in the works. I would rejoin the democrats before I would join a third party myself just to have those advantages, although for now I'll stick with the GOP.

I will right my own
I will right my own constitution based heavily off of the articles of confederation, and than steadily build up the infrastructure for a supporting government. i.e. I'm not moving, but I secede from recognizing political officials who will not obey the laws, that gave them their authority in the first place.
Goal for 2009
I will humble myself and rejoin our local Republican Women's Club. I will try to win over others there to Ron Paul and have more influence in the next primaries. Serving as a 2008 Ron Paul delegate for our Missouri district and state conventions was quite a learning experience!
The president elect
of my local Republican Women's Club extended me a personal invitation to join the group, and yes she's fully aware I was one of the Ron Paul delegates. I was wary about even going to a meeting, because we considered that group to have an unusually high percentage of anti-Paul republican members, but you've inspired me and I will attend a few meetings before I decide whether or not to join.
They know they need us----
In our state they are reaching out to Ron Paul supporters, and are trying to convince us that they welcomed us before. I know they held strategy meetings to stop our participation and only when they realized our strength, did they make concessions.
Just remember who the anti-Paul members are----and don't trust them!! They lie, suspend rules and change policy----and feel justified!
During the RNC, (I was a delegate) one guy tried to advise us to never mention Ron Paul's name if we wanted to get along in the state party, AND to just lie low and make friends, etc.! (In other words; do nothing and let THEM handle it)
Needless to say, I stand up for ethical politics and I will not be told what to say or how to act.
Oh My!!
Will you have to wear a red, white and blue polyester pantsuit to fit in? At our latest state meeting one blue-haired lady even had jeweled red, white and blue reading glasses!
And one thing I have noticed at these meetings is that quite a few of them have an obsessive-compulsive disorder! Please be careful!

At our state convention, I wore a red, white and blue jester's hat (that was quite a statement!) and a young man who I sat with for most of the proceedings (also a Paul delegate) had his hair painted red, white and blue! We were quite the couple, but I guess we wouldn't do that for a regular meeting.
I would describe most of the mainstream republicans as sufferers of cognitive dissonance, not obssessive compulsive disorder, although I suppose there is some overlap.
Goals for 2009?
let see, Thirty Million Illegal?
30m ÷ 50 states 600k Illegal per state,( just an average mind you.)
600k ÷ 12 months= 50,000 ÷ 30 days = 16,666 per day.(to apprehend)
16,666 ÷ 1000 well paid ICE agents per State.
(Anybody unemployed out there?)
Each State saves million of dollars!!!
It's all cleaned up in a few months! If we only had the balls.
That's my GOAL for 2009!!!!
Is this a serious comment or a spoof?
Save millions by massively increasing the police state, giving all those new ICE agents license to scout out, track down, arrest, and incarcerate thirty million immigrants (actually way more since many legal immigrants will be impropery arrested along with those here illegally,) then conduct trials for each of them, then pay for whatever programs result from sentencing.
And you've disrupted families, communities, snatched productive, hard-working, and long-settled members of society away from their jobs.
Sounds like a typical inefficient, heavy-handed government program that will misallocate funds the free market can put to infinitely better use.

Annual Rally for the Republic?
Is there another Rally for the Republic planned this year? I would think/hope it would turn into an annual convention. Otherwise this could look like a onetime spike in numbers. If we can consistently get 10,000-15,000 people to a convention every year, people would start to notice. Has this been discussed?

I have chosen Ron Paul and Ralph Nader as my leaders. I do not agree with either man 100%, but I value their integrity and perspectives enough to plan on supporting their stands on issues.
For example, while I think 911 was an inside job, neither Ron Paul or Ralph Nader are willing (or able) to go there publically, so, 911 Truth is not an issue I am going to pursue, but asking for a new investigation, I will IF Ron Paul or Ralph Nader were to go there (I highly doubt they will, but it's hard to make such predictions in such unstable times).
The issues Ron Paul and Ralph Nader agree, Ending the wars, Ending the war on drugs, Ending the Patriot Act, Ending the Federal Reserve, Restoring the US Constitution to we the people from the corporations are good fights I'm happy to support in 2009 until....

tv news networks the same simple message i tell everyone i meet:
bad news -
all of the western nations are controlled by people who have for many
years been planning on pulling the rug out from under their people
financially by the time they've accomplished world domination.
good news -
they made idiots out of themselves in iraq, afghanistan, iran, georgia,
pakistan and now india, so the land they needed to position themselves
to attack russia & china isn't theirs and now that the financial grand
larceny is happening right on schedule, they're sitting ducks just
waiting to be arrested.
i do this aggressively though as the 'end of this time' can't come
soon enough. people are still falling every minute of every day and
will continue to fall until the controllers are bound, so now that the
holiday is over, let's show the world it's time to get back to work and
that break time is over.
Right now
nothing really specific. I'm remaining a registered republican, despite their abysmal treatment of me (although there were a handful who were quite supportive) and I'm getting away from calling myself a "Ron Paul republican." It's not meant as any disrespect to Ron Paul, but he himself said it wasn't about him, it was about the message. So, I am a "constitutional republican" or just a "constitutionalist" and that's what I will concentrate on in our local republican meetings: running the country according to the constitution.
