Heading toward the Con-Con....
It just struck me as I read about how many states are getting close to bankruptcy, that the reason for the economic downturn, the dollar collapse, the market collapse, etc. is to force the states into a position where they will have to agree to a constitutional convention or perish.
Are we being deliberately driven into the dirt in order to finally get the constitution on the operating table, this time without the benefit of wisdom, and euthanize it once and for all?
I don't believe in coincidences and not having heard a call for a con-con in twenty years I thought it odd to hear rumblings about it now. Logically, it is the perfect time as we are wrapped up with other matters, global warfare, starvation, unrest.. you know, standard fare.
What better time for a staff of socialist ne'er-do-wells to finally put an end to that useless piece of paper that has kept them from us all these centuries?
As I recall they were only a few states short of enough for a con-con... any bets the states they need will soon be in default?

The difference
