happen. I didn't get through all the clip yet, but hopefully they address the main issue - government is hiding the cost of government from you so you won't revolt. People are ok with $4 bread, it's normal and 'affordable' now. They are ignorant to the fact it would cost $1 or less in a free-market.
You can add into the cost of bread the portion of our income taxes that go straight to the farmer and the costs of import tariffs.
hello guys, its been awhile since i logged on, happy holidays.
the video talks about the retail price of theoretical thing of $4.98, if you subtract 30% from it, which means $1.49, and some regulatory costs of $0.49, then you can see the actual price of that thing as just $3.00.
this is a great video. i am gonna put it in my facebook. it might be a little confusing to others, so do well in explaining things like the one here that is causing confusion. many thanks,
whatever merits this vid may have, all credibility was lost in the first 30 seconds.
50% = 30%?
Sure, if you follow the TWERP model of economics.
Come on guys, I'm surprised and disappointed.
You must be worn out and needing a serious vacation.
I know you can't take one now, so I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
Peace!
Thanks for all the hard work!
Fox, can you elaborate on what you mean by "50=30" and TWERP?
thx.

At 3:25 in, the clip says if you put away $X at 7%, then when you retire you'd have over a million $$.
Where can you put your money and get 7%?
Great clip, wish we could get all of america to view it. Show it as an infomercial on local TV? How much would that cost?

happen. I didn't get through all the clip yet, but hopefully they address the main issue - government is hiding the cost of government from you so you won't revolt. PEACE! - 30% of $4.98 is $1.49,not 30% of $3.00

I noticed that too
The Price is $3.00------he circles $1.49 and says 30%.

Look again
Look again, the retail price is 4.98. 30% of this is 1.49, just like the video said.
7% interest on savings?

Late Night Programming would be a great bet. 10 minutes shouldn't cost that much. I'll contact the guy and hope you all do as well.
Also, 7% is conservative for the past 20+ years in the stock market (most people say 12% is average). Last year, as we all know, is the aberration.

math
1.49 from 3.00 = 30%???
i thought half of 3.00 was 1.50 which = 3.00?
1.49 of 4.49 is 30%-3.00 is the actual cost
3.00 (actual cost) +1.49 (flabby government spending)= 4.49 (inflated price)
