The Great Ron Paul Regift of 2008!
Submitted by spires on Fri, 11/16/2007 - 12:20
We all get gifts that we don't need, want or can use. We should return these things this year, and give the money to Dr. Paul. January 10th or so should be enough time to make all those returns.
what do you think?!

Think about selling those liberty dollars on ebay
If you need some extra money and want to donate to Ron Paul you could sell your liberty dollars on ebay for a nice profit. The $20 dollar Ron Paul dollars are going for about $300 since the raid. I wish I had bought some of those a while back.
You people are ridiculous.
You people are ridiculous. Just donate 2,300 bucks and Ron Paul would have 50 million in the bank. If you want to dontate, dontate. You want to whine about not having enough cash, well I don't see any reason why anyone should believe that. Before you say you don't have the cash, pull it out of your retirement. Anyone who balks is a faker, just go home. l If you are going to donate just donate. Why am I reading this as one of the few hundred who maxed out the 2,300? If Ron Paul only has a few hundred people who maxed out the donation like I did, this cause is hopeless. Donate or shut it. This is getting old fast.
Give till it hurts
Give till it hurts. Any amount will do. Remember, contribute and support the good Ron Paul cause now or when someone else gets in because the campaign didn't have that extra $25 you will be kicking yourself and complaining about how much you have to give to government causes you may not agree with.
good call
I got 2,300 just laying around buddy. Thanks for making my day brighter, with your sage advice pal.
Unbelievable
What sets the RP phenomenon apart is that he has cured political apathy of millions (like me) and has a message that speaks to people from every walk of life, inlcuding those (like you) who apparently can afford to donate the max, and those who can barely afford to feed the kids but would be willing to return a gift or sell something on Ebay just to donate $10.
What is unbelievable is that ANYONE would criticize someone's idea for raising money for this cause.
This is a time we need to pull together and support each other, not badmouth and insult and criticize someone's idea (which I find rather brilliant).
So I'm glad you're a Ron Paul supporter, goog1, and that you've supposedly donated so much. I just hope you can find it in your benevolent heart to appreciate the fact that every idea, every cent, every supporter brings us one step closer to our goal.
Thank you sir.
I am a recently divorced Dad of 2 beautiful little girls who has given up everything + just to get my girls 1/2 of the time. Business is bad these days and all has been cashed in that can be cashed in, to include my "retirement account". I have donated a total of $200 to the campaign (on the bomb). I am currently sitting on an empty bank account and an empty fridge. I am very happy that goog1's life is currently treating him well, and I think that when our lives are treating us well, we tend to lose sight of how fortunate we may be and how not everybody might be in the same boat at that particular time. Fact is, I wouldn't trade my girls for all of goog1's money x a million.
My message would be: Everyone give what you can and then a little, this is the most important cause that we may ever encounter in our lives. To goog1, thanks for doing what you can.

Young
Some of us are young and living paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to give nearly 2,300.
Actually...
Maxing out shouldn't really stop you either. There are a million ways to give money to the cause even if you have maxed out at $2,300.
Thanks for the slap in the face... I needed it. I will go donate now.
Doesn't work. open secrets
Doesn't work. open secrets site lists everyone who donated the max. It plainly lists the pathetically low number of people out of 300 million in the USA who donated the max. Sick,
Haha, I love this
Haha, I love this idea.
Similar to my "announcement" yesterday in the newsletter that the official conversation starter for family members on Thanksgiving who don't know what to say to each other is 'Ron Paul'.
