Govt to bail out NEWSPAPERS?

This would be a very bad idea. Let the newspaper fail, perhaps an honest, liberty minded person or group could come along and buy it up. BTM maybe?

Of course the government will bail out their tools of control!

Bailout = Pandoras box

Just look at what it's done, public and private business all lining up for a handout. But it seems, lots of Americans love the idea that government is their financial savior to reward them for bad business decisions. Let the businesses fail as they should if they make bad decisions.

The absurdities are piling up

newpapers are a piece of the media giants pie. After the last two years of coverage during the presidential race, they are owed big time. obama didn't win because he's decent, honest and ethical.

The newspapers have lost their credibility due to the constant cheerleading and propaganda they've spread the past 6 years. Sales are down, people are beginning to feel mis-led and betrayed, therefore seeking out new places to get their news. The papers want re-imbursement from the government (thru the theft of taxpayer earnings) for doing the politicians dirty work. What a despicable, tangled web... where's our real-life Howard Beale?
