I want one big time

Though the shipping cost is US$20 to Canada and it would end up costing me over CAD$65 for the poster.

Michael, if you find cheaper shipping, I will be sure to buy one or two.

Thanks,

Canada4RonPaul

Love the calendar, Michael.....

I received mine yesterday and absolutely love it. Since my 67th birthday is Friday, I consider this a present to me from me. Great gift, huh?

And Michael, you did an excellent job! Thanks ever so much for your work!

I'm very proud to be a part of the Ron Paul Revolution.

Just received mine!

They are lovely, Michael. Thank you!
The natural fuzzy rims match the simplicity of the design very nicely.
Glad you didn't cut them off.

Obama's not my president

Good to know I can have a calendar with my president for the whole year.

I dunno, I kinda like that

I dunno, I kinda like that image.

Nice work!

I think this sort of stuff helps greatly.

I also came across this blog about Ron Paul being frozen out by the GOP. http://www.mountainhomenews.com/blogs/1128/entry/24025/
Says it all, I think.

Great Poster !

And I love your new Global Headquarters !

Thanks Michael,

Thanks for tying up the other DPers on their keyboards while I ran and got my debit card out of my wallet and bought two of your awesome collector calendars! Since I sell guns for a living and know the value of consecutive serial numbers, maybe I will get lucky and, well, see where I'm going with this?
Thanks for everything you do and have done Michael!

You bet

Thank you

NICE POSTERS!!!

Just 2 questions.... what are the measurements...(want to see where I can put it...)

and are they numbered?? I mean if you make these by hand... then each one is like a piece of art... so numbering them might be a fun way .. to create more value...

Just a thought

BTW--anyone who is talking this project down. is A COMPLETE... I***T!!
It takes a lot of time/energy to create something by hand..let alone do or complete any project.... Before anyone complains.. ask yourself this.. how much would you be willing to pay for an annual subscription to this site?? I mean how many hours of time have any of you spent here? And how much value has it given your life?? IS THAT WORTH ABOUT 2.50 A MONTH??? (the price of one one calendar...)

Michael Nystrom's picture

Numbered

Yes, they are. This will be an edition of 100, hand numbered, and also signed by me.

The dimensions are: 22" high x 15" wide.

Thank you for the support!

Michael

He's the man.

thank you Michael

for your continuing endeavors and dedication for promoting freedom. This is the first time that I am writing to you to express my appreciation for you and this site. I love it here. My son thinks it is so funny that whenever he comes home from college, I am always on here. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to glean so much from all the dpers here. Never lose heart. I just ordered my calendar and can't wait to receive it. Please do autograph it for me and if there are any bumper stickers left, I need one to put under my Ron Paul in 2008 one. Thanks again for everything you do. God Bless, Peg

We also need a generic counterpart

Mike,

I like what you are doing. And you know that I totally support every possible initiative to promote freedom. Anyone who sacrifices for freedom is a hero of some sort.

Ron Paul has become the Father of the Modern Freedom Movement. He is a great guy and that is a good thing.

In addition, however, we need a non Ron Paul brand. Ron Paul turns off the electorate (the people who place the winning votes). Somehow, we need some kind of generic words that will allow voters to select freedom candidates without the fear (even though it is a false fear) of voting for a "nut".

So, I like the RP stuff - but I would hope that we could develop some generic initiative to capture the majority of the voters.

I understand

I understand where you're coming from. I live in one of the most liberal parts of the country. There are a lot of misconceptions about RP, which is sad.

But I understand where you're coming from, and thank you for the reminder.

I'll put my brain to it.

who knows

When Michael wins a Congress seat in 2010 you will pay in gold coins for those on Ebay.

Love the Calendars!

Just the 'artwork' I need for my office! My top of desk display is a picture of me and my daughter with Ron Paul (taken at the Delegates Reception in MN), flanked by a full bottle of Ron Paul Revolution Cola on one side AND a full bottle of AMERI-COLA with my picture with Ron Paul on the label (ordered by my daughter from My Jones Soda!) on the other side!
I will order calendars for my family members that were active in the Ron Paul Campaign.
Thanks, Michael! And PLEASE autograph the calendars!

Calendar

I can not believe all the negative, unkind remarks about Michael's effort. What?! The man starts a great site, we all read it, some donate money some do not, he still allows posts after the fact and keeps it going Why? Because we all want freedom and liberty. We all want to connect to others who want to see freedom and liberty. Just the fact that it is still going demands respect. So the man wants to sell a few calendars with the face of the man we all unite under......that requires a little respect considering Michael is the one who started the site.

well said

all Michael's activism time and energy and yes stress when he encounters bad language or vicious attacks between folks here...and he gets "rewarded" with negativity instead of positive vibrations.

Thank you Paul4Pres for your comment.

Cool Beans!

Great Job Michael!

If you have any need for large format signs and stuff I have a 54" wide format printer tucked into my basement production facility.

Have a great new year!

welll......

I was really anxious to get this as soon as I saw it

but then...... I saw the price

if you go to indigo or chapters you find way more artistic and well made calendars for the half the price.

And those are two pages per month, this is just one giant piece of paper man.

I don't mind contributing to the DP but we are in a recession u know.

Michael Nystrom's picture

Yeah, I understand

But there are a lot of costs involved, for the screens, the ink, the paper, the chemicals, Then there is the think mailing tube and the postage. Plus I've spent a lot of time.

Like I said, I'm just getting started in the medium. These first two posters have been very much a learning experience for me, and I've got a lot of ideas for future stuff - a lot.

But if you're worried about the price, think of it as an investment. One day when I'm really famous, or when Ron Paul is the Governor of Texas in 2010, or President in 2012, these will be worth a lot more ;-)

He's the man.

Johnny

Have you seen any Ron Paul calendars at Chapters or Indigo?LOL

Wow...your basement pic sure brought back memories.

I ran a screen printing shop out of my basement for many years...printed textiles, metal, as well as paper...anything that would except the ink...ha...ha...ha. It is a very satisfying profession or hobby.

I hate to point out the obvious, but

It's a calender with a pretty standard Ron Paul Image and one line of text. You could pull it off in Word if you dont have photoshop or illustrator.

Michael Nystrom's picture

Who could?

Yeah Mike, talk is cheap. Everyone could do a lot of things.

Most people don't do anything but talk, as I know that you are aware.

Speaking of which, how's that website of yours coming along - the one that you started with great fanfare to "do" stuff? I see it hasn't been updated for a couple of weeks. What happened? Did you run out of gas?

Like I said Mike, talk is cheap, and everyone could do a lot of things. When it comes down to it, anyone could do what Ron Paul has done, right? Anyone could do it.

And how many people did?

He's the man.

Mike, I didn't mean to cause a stir. I actually didn't even read

The post and understand where they were coming from. I don't want to take anything away from the DP at all. I didn't realize you made these. I used to do screen printing and I know what a hassle and expense it can be.

The website is actually going great! We are making real headway on our project and we're starting to get together in person in local groups too. I wish you'd join. You'll see it's very specific in purpose, but it energizes us to work even harder on all the other things.

I really did not mean to make it sound like your calenders were an easy project.

I bought one.
