I seem to be in disagreement with most people here about this though. Hamas has one primary goal- to destroy Israel. Palestine elected Hamas- the majority seems to be on the same page. They embed their military within a human shield of women and children and pretend they are outraged when they get killed. Then play on the civilized world's sympathies when they are more to blame than anyone for putting them in harms way. They know having their women and children slaughtered is a PLUS. They wont stop their rocket attacks and are surprised that Israel wont stop the operation. They hit NOTHING when they lob one of their rockets into Israel- but they refuse to stop to save their own lives with a cease-fire. They have a deathwish it seems. Im sorry- but as long as they lob rockets- Israel SHOULD continue bombing the places where the rockets are being launched from. They have NO problem making their women and children into suicide bombers and human shields- and they do it willingly. They probably consider it a great honour and welcome rocket launchers into their day-care centers in the hopes of being martyred when they get bombed. They have the power to end this by refraining from sending the rockets- but theyd rather continue getting bombed- in the hopes that one of their neighbors cant stomach the slaughter any longer and starts world war 3 for them.

When you ponder on the relationship between the taxes we pay and the horrific things that are being funded by the fruits of our labor. Aside from intense sympathy and the desire to ease human suffering, as a US citizen it should inspire guilt.

The American people have been smugly condoning and encouraging brutal bombings like this, from our own government, for sixty years. I bet the scene at Dresden made this look like a Sunday afternoon picnic.

It's an "atrocity" if some other government does it. If our forces do it, it's kick-butt heroism.

4. What better way at getting back at the killers than blowing yourself up

B. You become a martyr for the dead
C. You inflict damages on a war machine bigger than your strip of land and backed by the US of A.
