This is a very pointed article. The end particularly struck me:

Also fat is not synonymous with stupid, lazy, etc. It even might be the opposite. Also fat people probably do not eat any worse food than skinny people do. The skinny's sure use the microwave. It is not the fat people who are losing this battle we are in, it is the obsessed people who are losing it whether fat or not-obsessed with sports, fitness, tv, their own lives, fighting, being right (everyone has to be right). I don't hear fat people constantly spewing anger towards skinny people like I hear those who think they are skinny, comedians, etc., doing so the other way. Obesity is caused by lack of exercise. Americans do not exercise in any significant numbers. In the 70s and 80s, when slimness was very common, the gyms were full of people, the aerobics classes were full of customers, the shoulders of the roadways were annoyingly littered with bicyclists and joggers. You don't see any of that today, aside from in mountainous tourist towns like Aspen or Tucson (which, not coincidentaly, are full of thin people).
If there's a secondary cause for obesity, it's restaurants.
The town I live in has 8000 people. It has 32 restaurants and one gym. Whenever I go there (which isn't often enough), I'm one of the only people in the gym. The treadmills are usually empty.
People are not fat because of genetically modified foods, aspartame, and corn syrup.

I agree that there is no evil committee purposefully manipulating human behavior, but there is a conspiracy of ideas that have made people different than they were 50 years ago.

Why don't people exercise ? They don't care, or don't have time - they are depressed, they are drugged out - legal or illegal.
all of these issues feedback on each other. People are uneducated, depressed, made to feel dependent, they don't care about anything but entertainment and food. They make bad choices regarding their lives, and let others make important decisions, and feel entitled to necessities.
Then add the fact that so many are imprisoned, which causes psychological damage, not to mention veterans pysch problems. There is no one to fight authority anymore in the U.S.
The bilderbergs couldn't have done such a great job destroying america if they would have tried.

I was listening to Michael Medved Yesterday, and he was shilling for the Israeli invasion of course, but the important thing was his description of "how well Americans get along" - no one is fighting in the US - we know how to live together, he said. There are no violent protests like the 60s and 70s - Well guess why michael, Americans have become Fat lazy stupid and depressed, so as they have some creature comforts, and don't have to think too much, they are OK. During the campaign you would be suprised how many people I encountered who were "tired of hearing about it"

Are all the nutrients really destroyed? I know fresh squeezed "live" veggie juice is better than V-8 etc..but do microwaves kill the nutrients in foods like bleach kills bacteria or what?

This is part of the reason that the CODEX is such a big deal.
Part of what CODEX has written in it is that ALL food in the United States, imported or home grown must be "irradiated" to "protect the people" from out breaks of things like E-coli, salmonella, etc. They leave out the bit about it killing all of the nutrients in the food...but it really does.
We do not use our microwave 95% of the time. And although it has caused the children the need to learn a little more patience in waiting for their food to reheat from the day before, we feel it is worth their health. :)
