A Lot More Than $4.3 million
If all the 40,000 donors who donated on November 5 think like I do, they will donated double the Nov 5 amount. I have no doubt there will be at least 15,000 new donors with $100 each. Do the math. It adds up to more than $10 million. I will watch it carefully and if we get over $9 million by nightfall, there will be calls for us to give until it hurts because $10 million sounds so much better than $9.6 million. Even though it might not be fiscally responsible for me, I would not be able to resist the call to push it to $10 million. I'll keep giving like an out of control gambler, but I won't rest until we hit the magical $10 million.

i've only been on here a couple of weeks but i have to say "canada loves ron paul" has become embedded into the dailypaul experience.

New conservative estimate: $15.5M for Q4
The $260,914 that just showed up is certainly for recent offline donations. My guess is that this covers the time period of roughly Nov.1 through Nov.11. Based on that and other statistics lifted from ronpaulgraphs.com, my spreadsheet tells me:
The average non-moneybomb day is bringing in $67K with about $43K online and $23K offline and that is actually happening pretty darn consistently. If the campaign continues to bring in funds at roughly this rate and also gets another 4.3M online on Dec. 16th (which seems like a highly conservative estimate to me), then the campaign will pull in over $15.5M in Q4. Of course there is every reason to expect the actual result will be higher than that. Possibly much much higher.
So that means that the campaign can start figuring out how to spend an extra $3M over and above their plan. Also campaign volunteers can worry a little less about money and more about general voter awareness, reaching out to registered undecided voters, becoming delegates, GetOutTheVote activities and so forth.
Now you still want to urge new supporters that you cultivate to give $$$ to the campaign because those that donate are significantly more likely to take the time to actually vote on election day. But I agree with those who are brainstorming about novel ways to break through to people other than raising money with money bombs.
Don't get me wrong. The money bomb on Nov. 5th was stupendous and the teaparty07 will probably be even better and I support it whole-heartedly. I am just saying that we can also turn our creativity to new concepts for breaking through to people's consciousness.

The good news is
I think the good news is that Ron should have at least $9 million going into December 15. Since his goal is $12 million, the pressure to raise as much or more than $4.3 million isn't there.
He'll probably break 9
He'll probably break 9 Million around Thanksgiving. He'll be well on his way to 10 Million by the time of the Tea Party.

Occaissionally the compaign will add in all the off-line donations. It's usually a decent chunk of money.
