Care for some salt with that prophecy?

I am going to try to relay a concept that many of you will reflexively want to reject. I urge you to please try to put aside the inclination to defend, object, clarify, explain, etc and please try to grasp the concept. I do not claim mastery of communication skills, but I am pretty good with words and will do my best to be clear. Understand you, me, all of us are trained since birth to react in certain ways to certain stimuli. If you are reading along and suddenly find you are angry, offended, or ready to disregard this entire post, PLEASE look carefully at the word that set you off. Examine ALL of it's definitions and see if maybe, you grabbed one definition and maybe I was trying to hand you another one. I can assure you, my intent is never to offend. I am forced to attempt to communicate using a language that is now fraught with trigger words and a population that is conditioned to stop using their critical thinking faculties when these trigger words are encountered. Your sincere efforts to reach a meeting of the minds will almost certainly overcome any failure of mine to avoid triggers or to select words that do not serve me well in my desire to communicate.

I see some of the brightest minds here quoting Bible prophecies, and I ask you all to please consider this carefully. I do not object to anyone using whatever guides they find are helpful to them, but one must be able to remain objective about these guides. Any source that offers you a prophecy is inviting you to suspend rational thought. The practice of astrology ought to demonstrate to most rational thinkers that nearly any prophecy can be interpreted as correct or incorrect, depending on the desire of the interpreter. If you find comfort in carrying a bunny foot, carry it. If the words of Winnie the Pooh inspire you be your highest self, then read Winnie often. But know that it is you, is has always been you, it will always be you, that is connected directly to the Universe. Humans have been humans since we were... dust? ...apes? ...it matters not, since we were not humans. That includes the spark of the divine and the capacity for great malice. Whatever the Bible was, wherever it came from, however great the people who wrote it may have been, it is time for Truth to overcome the superstition that has come to overshadow any benevolent original intent. Your churches were infiltrated, even much of the "shamanic tradition" that we know about is a fabrication of the MSM, a desire on their part to make us believe there are people with a direct link to the Almighty that you do not have.

I do not claim any great knowledge of truth, just a great love of it. Prophecy clouds the eye to the truth in its purest form: That which unfolds before you. Perhaps there is a value in seeking foreknowledge that I am robbing myself of, I am open to hear your arguments. I contend that a belief in prophecy forces you to believe in a certain outcome. This leaves you vulnerable to being blind to the truth of this moment, it seems to me.

I worked in ophthalmology for many years, I took blindness as my physical enemy, it represented the failure of my professional efforts. Most connotations of blindness are in this vein, if you care to do a bit of free association, I come up with blind rage, blind as a bat, blind fool... and blind faith. Please look at your reaction!

WHO taught you this is a desirable state and have you ever done your homework on it? Which of those words is a desirable position from which to make decisions? What are the antonyms for them, and do they seem better or worse ways to think? Blind antonyms first: My ghetto thesaurus tool only offers "sighted." Now "faith" - lol - my tool offers nothing. Ah, caught mid rant - then let me open the floor. Please run yours, tell me what you get, and what you think... please spare yourself the emotional reactions. I will not engage in those for both of our good, the rush of adrenaline is hard on humans and it is not my desire to offend. I wish you to engage your critical thinking capacity, which I assure you has been deliberately impaired through many avenues.

Are you familiar with the term "Namaste'?" If I have not been mislead, it translates to roughly "The light within me honors the light within you." It seems an appropriate greeting among those who have displayed the courage to dare a glimpse at the light.
