1: Imagine the YouTube montages you could make of his TV economic predictions going back 10 years.
2. He could theoretically self-fund to a reasonable extent (pretty wealthy guy is my impression).
3. He has policy opinions almost identical to Ron Paul's, but he is a bit more stealthy (meaning there are not 30 years of speeches to pluck out and say - "Congressman Paul, you once said you think we shouldn't have fought the civil war...please let us waste 3/4 of this interview talking about a non-policy issue that sounds controversial..."). Peter Schiff could really craft his presentation from scratch (and the best part is all of us Paulians would know he is dyed in the wool but he could be a bit less controversial).
4. As someone said above, Peter is entertainment GOLD. Shows would really love him compared to Ron Paul. Dr. Paul is always my guy, and Schiff would have to spend 30 years earning my adoration to that degree--but he would be SUCH a victory for the Ron Paul movement.
PLEASE EVERYONE SPREAD THE WORD AND GET EXCITED. If any race can bring this movement back into the mainstream conversation, it's Schiff vs. Dodd 2010.
5. Oh, and can you imagine having an Austrian Economist in the Senate for a minimum of 6 years?! Can anyone say FILIBUSTER!!!!?

Peter Schiff is a great idea for so many reasons:

2. He could theoretically self-fund to a reasonable extent (pretty wealthy guy is my impression).
