Why I Would Vote No On Pot
Maybe it's because I was born a couple of months after Woodstock and wasn't around when marijuana was as common as iPods are today, but I'm constantly amazed that after all these years--and all the wars on drugs and all the public-service announcements--nearly 15 million Americans still use marijuana at least once a month. California and 10 other states have already decriminalized marijuana for medical use. Now two of those states--Colorado and Nevada--are considering ballot initiatives that would legalize up to an ounce of pot for personal use by people 21 and older, whether or not there is a medical need.

Sanjay.....
save a bong hit for me. I get depressed not from smoking pot only when I don't have any to smoke. You have to smoke pot just to figure out which Judge Show your watching. How many of them are there? You know once Jenine Pierro has a show the flood gates have opened. These cases on TV are as phony as 9/11. Stay tuned tommorow at noon "Judge Jackass" You sue me I sue you you look like an ass on TV only in America.

He lost me at "possible addiction"
I've smoked for 35 years on and off...and short of being a bit irritated during "dry" times I've had no side effects and find myself lucid enough to run businesses and trade markets successfully.

I believe
I believe we are the sole owners of our bodies. No government has a right to tell us what we can and cannot put in it. That includes the FDA.
Families can say what they will, but the bureaucrats can kiss my ass.
Maybe
Weed slows down the little swimmerz!
I don't smoke pot ...anymore...but I still think it should be legal, especially when compaired with other drugs, including alchohol and or ciggarettes.
These two alone are infinatly more devestating to the body AND to the general public in my opinion.
In fact I think drugs that are thought of as
" harder" drugs...such as heroin should be legal WAY before alchol should be legal, oh wait...it already is...Vicodin , oxycodone, oxycontin etc. etc.
Just because some guy writes a script for it, doesn't change the fact that it is what it is.
Same here, had to stop years ago to keep my job....
But I would like to have the choice when I am off from work and just want to relax. I smoked for 15 years, got a good job that outweighed the option so I have quit for close to 10 years now. No withdrawls, no problem "not" smoking, but to have the option would be a refreshing change. Strange that I could join the military and legally kill people for nothing more than a boost for someones election potential, but as a citizen for me to smoke would cost me my job, and likely my family, just another fine example of the land of the free and the home of the slave.

It was interesting to read the new ratings for
teenage pregnancy by state. Those states with more liberal attitudes and pot is practically legal have 1/2 the teenage pregnancy rate.
Nearly 66% in Texas , Oregon is only 33%..
(And, 1/2 the use of marijuana and other drugs as well)....
When pot is legalized and the truth about all of its medical benefits get out it will become as popular to teenagers as Geritol is now. Try drinking a bottle of Geritol, at 40% alcohol it will give you a buzz.
Anyone who thinks they have the authority to decide if others can use one of G-ds created plants in its natural unprocessed form or regulate it in any way is a facist bastard and should have their nuts removed with a pair of pliers and a broken beer bottle.

Short article.
He probably had to get to his liquor.
Anyone suprised?
He admits that weed has positive health benefits, but he still thinks it should be illegal!! What a Hypocrite!!
Of course he does....
And until there is a marijuana lobby that can fill his pockets like the pharmaceutical industry he will hold the same opinion. Promise money for his future endeavors and colleagues and he might just think its a bit safer....
