"Virtually entire world...sees Israeli actions as American actions"

Ron Paul on Gaza, Economy and Common Sense

by Allen L Roland

In a world of posturing politicians, many beholden to AIPAC and other special interest groups, Ron Paul speaks out on Gaza, the need for an honest neutral Middle East broker as well as common sense observations about our deteriorating debt ridden economy: Allen L Roland

I did not vote for Ron Paul but I admired his constitutional values and plain speaking truths about America and where we are heading ~ particularly regarding the current Middle East crisis.

Virtually the entire world, other than large segments of the American public, see Israeli actions as American actions. The attack on Gaza thus harms not only Israel's reputation and credibility, but America's reputation and credibility as well." http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2009/01/02/israel/

Yet Obama, Clinton and Biden all remain curiously silent about this crisis except for Democrat Dennis Kucinich and Republican Ron Paul...

I have been saying this for years...

"The use of 'Conspiracy Theorist' or 'Truther' as a derogatory -- as an epithet almost -- is something the propagandists have perfected over the decades, and it's a useful tool for eliminating articulate dissent."

MSM

Has the masses brainwashed and programmed to tune Truth out.

"There can be only one permanent revolution - a moral one: The regeneration of the inner man."
—Tolstoy

"The body is but a vessel for the soul,
A puppet which bends to the soul's tyranny.
And lo, the body is not eternal,
For it must feed on the flesh of others,
Lest it return to the dust whence it came.
Therefore the soul deceives and despises."

Just as Hitler

Just as Hitler use to be thought of as the Evil Aggressor and Oppressor, most of the world now think of the US as the Evil Empire - only with more military power and less opposition.

I am constantly amazed at the lack of knowledge and outrage by so many Americans, especially the Christian community. They have this new saying "What would Jesus Do"? Well the way I read the record, Jesus was a pro-active rebel that directly challenged the wrong doings of the institutions. When it comes to social responsibility, maybe it's time the Christian authorities ask of our foreign policy - WWJD?

Paul: I was annoyed by the evangelicals’ being so supportive...

~
Paul is given to mulling things over morally. His family was pious and Lutheran; two of his brothers became ministers. Paul’s five children were baptized in the Episcopal church, but he now attends a Baptist one. He doesn’t travel alone with women and once dressed down an aide for using the expression “red-light district” in front of a female colleague. As a young man, though, he did not protest the Vietnam War, which he now calls “totally unnecessary” and “illegal.” Much later, after the United States invaded Iraq in 2003, he began reading St. Augustine.

“I was annoyed by the evangelicals’ being so supportive of pre-emptive war, which seems to contradict everything that I was taught as a Christian,” he recalls. “The religion is based on somebody who’s referred to as the Prince of Peace.”

As a Catholic

I was disturbed at how the church supported candidates that are pro-life but who are pro-war at the same time, i.e., McCain. The ideal candidate for Christians was the candidate I wrote in -- Chuck Baldwin.

I'm a Positive Agnostic...

and voted for Chuck Baldwin too.
