So I logged into my youtube account and checked comments where people have replied to things I have posted on videos. I couldn't remember exactly what the video was so I clicked on it to view it.
I was stunned when I saw a message up top that said this video is not available in my country.
What the hell is this? Communist China? I can't view whatever the hell I want? I get to have google tell me I can't view a certain video? God I can't wait until Obama brings us more net censorship... it will make me feel even more free! NOT!
How long before websites like dailypaul are banned? Spreading the truth is a dangerous thing and they do not want us doing it.

Please excuse this question,( the answer
is probably obvious to most of you who are knowledgeable users of the net and YouTube) is it impossible to use another website to spread videos and information? What about Pyrabang, I though it was set up as an alternative.
Is the problem that YouTube got there first and has the traffic sewn up; or does no one else have the funds to build a comparable web site to handle the traffic?
I have a question
Since Youtube is under a NAZI regime and they are censoring in accordance with the JDL. Where are we to go for free video uploads and viewing?
Can someone get a list of freedom of speech sites? Cause youtube is dead. Its bought and paid for by influences hell bent on shutting off the flow of truth in a sea of lies. The internet has a cancer. That cancer began with google. Now it has spread to youtube. Soon this great tool for freedom will die. wracking NAZI's.
Also this has another effect. I want to find out what these tools are banning. Inadvertently honing my interest into what they find threatening to their lies.

Here are the details of what I called about:
YouTube is blocking certain videos and YouTube Channels from users in the United States.
On Friday January 2nd, YouTube user downwardspiral http://www.youtube.com/downwindspiral posted a comment stating that a video called "Unconstitutional Agenda" was being blocked from the viewing of US YouTubers; I checked it out for myself, and sure enough, I got a message that read “This video is not available in your country."
Try it yourself; got to this channel http://www.youtube.com/vancerz and try to watch the video called "Unconstitutional Agenda".
Today, Sunday January 4th, I came across this comment on a YouTube video, “Death to America, Democracy, and Israel!
Free Palestine. Nuke Israel!
Stop U.S. sending our pennies and dimes to fund Israeli crimes!
Open your borders America!
Join our struggle and support Socialism and Jihad!

I clicked on the link to this Nazi’s YouTube account, trying to get some background information on him before starting a flame war with him, only to discover a message that read, “This channel is not available in your country.”

Next, click on the link to sighiesiegfried88’s channel and you will discover it to be blocked.

So, I have come across two instances where YouTube is blocking content from US users, this weekend alone. I need to know if any of you have encountered this yet on YouTube, we need to start a list of videos and channels that are being blocked in the US.

Youtube has (and should have) the right to restrict their site in whatever manner they see fit. Freedom's not a one way street.
Well, consider this
it's a video about police doing political arrests in St. Paul before the republican convention. The story on the people who were arrested, telling their story. You tell me that youtube all by itself decided that the video needs to be banned? I don't think so.
They're only banning political stuff like that because of the govt asking them to. I fully believe that. Just how the air force now is doing counter blogging missions, making sure they try to counter any negative stuff said about the govt.
If youtube doesn't want to post a video of a murder on their website, that's one thing. I can see them saying they don't want something like that on their site. But it sickens me that they are banning this political stuff now.
And you're right, they have the right to ban whatever they want. But when you see people like Joe Lieberman on tv talking about how we need to censor things like youtube, and then all of a sudden youtube is censoring this stuff.... it kind of makes you think that the decision wasn't made fully by youtube.

I uploaded a video I took from an OZZ fest where we passed out Ron Paul slim jims and it was up for over 1.5 years and recently was pulled due to copyright violation.
I had used Black Sabbaths "war pigs" as the background music.
It took them a while but they finally pulled it.
They sent me an email telling me that the owner of the song requested that it be pulled.

Youtube is censoring
Youtube is censoring comments like mad. I had someone reply to a comment I put up ( I do so many, and I am sure it was good ) I forgot what I said, so I clicked and went back to the video, the guys response was there, but my comment was gone. This happens to me all the time. I have been paying attention at the censorship. Folks, we have been living in communism for a long time. Just not so much in your face. I expect they will come down on the dissenters soon. I think they are taking names. Its going to get bad.

I don't think it was the owner. I only comment on freedom oriented videos. I try not use foul language ( well, most of the time ) although, for me it can be a hard thing to do sometimes :) I think I am on a list or something. I am sure I made the list. VIP status. Lol.
There is a simple way around it.
My sig used to contain a link to a BBC comedy sketch on youtube. People outside Britain kept getting "not available in your country" when they clicked on it. Eventually I posted a Canadian link to the same video. It worked. Everyone could watch it.

..if not more. Well, as much anyway. The erosion of liberty is horrifying. The newest plan is to demand ID for travel from this little island to the mainland - all in the interests of security of course. I'm not actually a LPUK member, because I am not able to vote in mainland elections. I just try to wake people up. But what I have discovered is that a number of people react apathetically: but what can you do it about it? Of course I tell them that the best thing is to inform others so that there is more resistance to introducing any further Big Brother laws, but they don't want to think it about it. We lived in Germany for many years and I have German relatives. The Nazis didn't announce their ultimate aim when they started introducing restrictions etc. Everyone thought it was for their own good! There are so many similar patterns emerging. So I was heartened to read elsewhere on the site about how awake many US citizens are to all this. Btw. I'm female (just referring to the term "mate") :-)
