Question For Christians (like myself) about NWO and RP

In the book of revelation in the bible, doesn't it talk about there being a one world government in the end? If this is what the people in power over our country are pushing for, then is this whole NWO thing inevitable? If so, and I don't mean to bring a negative spirit because I am really pushing for RP, but if so, then no matter what we do, will he not become our president since taht's how God would have it?

Maybe I'm mising something, I hope I am, I really want RP to be our next president. Comments please.

And its not right to TRY and HASTEN the end... if you thought that say Mike Huckabee would bring about the end of the world... that would be THE BEST reason NOT TO VOTE FOR HIM!!

He suggested rendering unto ceasar that which was ceasars... he did not advocate killing ANYONE... His message of salvation is 180 degrees from an EYE FOR AN EYE... its more like forgiving... SEVENTY TIME SEVEN..

I guess I may be offering a comment not asked for...

as I no longer profess to being Christian. Let me apologise up front. I have done a little reading in the gospels though in the past. Again, no disrespect intended, but I read something like this and I wonder if Jesus of Nazareth would shake his head in wonder at the things professed in his name long after he took his seat at the right hand. If the end is inevitable...then what was the point of Christ's sacrifice? I guess I'll leave that to the theologians.

I fear that to accept the ideas of Dr. Paul about human governance, you may have to take up the risks of a truly holy man that lived and died long ago in opposition to those who thought they held the keys. And if thats the case, I don't think you will be deserted. Thanks for the thoughtful post and please forgive me if I cause any unintended offense with my comments.

God is sovereign and His will is going to be accomplished. In the meantime since we never "know" when the end is at hand, it is our obligation to stand up and be counted as people who fought for freedom and liberty.

Imagine if all those people "gave up" thinking the end of the world was at hand in 1776.

question for christians

to answer your question... when you read the the book of revelation. The antichrist attempts a one world government. but he does not achieve all nation status with this.. if there were a one world government and everyone was under control there would be no reason for the deaths of billions of people during this time.. there will be revolt against the antichrists system. Lucifer has his problems during this time... I think that mainly the english speaking world does not go along with this. This Ron Paul revolution is a forerunner to this.. people here have access to the truth threw the internet. those of us who love our freedom and liberty and our constitution would rather die than live as slaves! The powers that be are running scared of a Ron Paul election win. Ron Paul wins and there will be complete transparency in government.. it will be fun to watch all government stooges who have committed treason to this country go to jail.. this is what scares them the most. A story about God that clears things up for me

A woman's boat sunk and she had to swim to the shore of a small island. She prayed to God to save her.

A few days later, a fisherman in a boat found her and told her to get aboard and he would take her back home. Her response was "Thank you but I've prayed to God and he will save me" He left.

A few days later a young couple on a sailboat saw the woman and told her to get aboard and they would take her to safety. Again the woman responded "Thank you but I've prayed to God and he will save me" The couple went on their way.

Finally a large freighter happened to spot her alone on the island and sent a small boat with some men to take her back to the ship. Again the woman responded "Thank you but I've prayed to God and he will save me" The freighter also left.

After a few more days, the frustrated woman said to God "God why have you not listened to my prayers?"

God responded "Who do you think sent the fisherman, sailboat and freighter?"

I believe that God does not step in and interfere with what mankind does to itself, nor do I believe that he wants the end of the world to happen. What I do believe is that God sends us someone to fight the evil and oppression that exists in our country and our world. Let's not send him away this time.

God is in control

The fact is that God has placed every king and ruling member since the beginning of time. God doesn't always/ever place kings to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. God wants our total attention and love, yet we as a people and civilization always seem to stray away in quest of fullfilling our own dreams and wants. How many people to you know that read and study the Bible regularly and live by the Word and the teachings of Christ? Now think about how many people you know that worry more about Movies, Television, Stock/Savings portfolio's, a new car, cell phone, computers, keeping up with the Jones'....etc...etc..etc... Every cruel ruler that came in the past including and especially figures like Hitler and so-on were here for a reason, and that reason was to punish his people for straying and bring them back. Everything that has happened has been foretold in the Bible, not only in Revelations, but especially in Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah..etc.

The problem is this. We have a gift in Media. I love movies, some television, the internet and such but we now abuse it. We spend more time worried about what's happening with stars and things that really don't matter than we do worried about our salvation, the salvation of others, the poor, the downtrodden, and living our lives in a Christ-like manner.

What happens in the future is foretold in the Bible, however we aren't on an exact timeline I don't think. And either way, the Bible has numerous stories of God condemning a people and or country/government and then changing his mind due to a complete mindset change in the people. So basically what happens is God's will, and it's not to make our lives easier as Christians. It's to let us know that God is still in control and we better change our lives and start living right and treating people the right way. In other words, give God the glory, and let God do his will.

However, in my opinion what matters at all times is what is truly in your heart and soul. Just because you feel that things will turn out differently shouldn't deter you from fighting the good fight. If enough people change and spread the word of peace and love, you never know what might happen. Like I said, God has changed his mind in the past.

I personally want to live every day I have to the fullest, live right, and spread the word of peace and love. The great thing, is that your one of the few that are smart enough to study and to keep alert. We are told that we will never know the day or time of the end, but we are also told to study diligently, pray constantly, and be aware to our surroundings. The signs are there for you to see, but you have to be aware of what your looking for. Your on the right road, but save yourself some anxiety and know that God is in charge of whatever may happen.

Remember that the Wide (easy) road is never the right way. Stick with the narrow (hard) path and you will be rewarded.

I think sometimes messages get too complicated

I suggest that God wants us to love everybody as best we can.
I suggest that God is love and love is compassion, tolerance and understanding of others.
I just can't walk with God wanting everyone to be wiped out. Call me crazy, but, the wiped out option doesn't match the first two even a little bit.

The God component of the Ron Paul message would be found in the Declaration of Independence.

Life isn't a tea party

Unfortunately if you look around and people in general, we spend more time looking at sports figures, actors, and complete imbeciles like lohan, hilton, spears..etcc than at our relationship with God.

God has always sent Beast's (Governments) to turn the people back to Him. But then there has been times where He has changed His mind because of the changes man made in his life. It is a very hard thing to swallow, but if you study your Bible you will see it spelled out for you.

What matters is the Grand Picture, not our small blip in time. God wants our unfettered love and affection, and we owe Him that and no less. If He has to send tyranny and opression to get the peoples attention, then so be it. What matters are the souls of His people, not the short bit of happiness and self-indulgence we get from being mortal for but a short time. God is in control, but I believe that we may well have a chance at a reprieve through getting back to our basics of peace and love.

I also believe that God has given us one great tool, which is the good Dr. Ron Paul. He preaches a message of what every true Christian should understand and work for. This is our time to make change in our world and our relationship with God in general. We either win and make change, or we lose and we get more of the Tyranny that has started and I think we all know where that is heading.

My humble opinion...

I've always maintained the belief that we follow a specific pattern as human beings, and the way I relate the "end times" doctrine may be a little different than some.

Think about it this way...

We've had the Roman Empire, Spanish Empire, English Empire, Persian Empire, Nazi Empire, etc... All of these entities were attempting to become a one world government. That is the nature of Empires. Therefore I would conclude that it is a natural tendency for human society to move in this direction. To me, the scripture is a warning. It is attempting to let us know what to watch for and what to stand up against.

Remember... no man knows the day or the hour. Why should we believe that we are so close to the "End Times"? Don't you imagine the people who lived through WWII thought they were living in the end times?

We don't have to accept this notion of inevitablity. I believe God gave us free will and a concience for a reason. We have been given a great gift. The bible shows us a pattern of events that would lead to the "end times", but that doesn't mean we don't have the power to get out of that pattern.

I figure believers felt the same about Hilter--the one world government and Rev. would have fit well. But some noble ones fought him anyway and I'm thankful for the lives they saved (think Corrie ten Boom's family and Dietrich Bonhoffer--I think I got the name right). Not to mention our soldiers. I think that evil is the same in all generations, so it's easy to see the connect. But we still need to be a force for good in the world. Whether we win or lose, we must fight. And in the end, Good wins. That's what I know from Rev.

Push for Ron and let God fill in the details...none of us know how and when these things will come to pass.

So far as we know Ron will be president and delay things for a while just as was done numerous times in the bible.

Or just as likely he could be the force they fight against...we shall see...but Ron being president has a calling on it like no other since the beginning of our country...that says it all...

My vote

I don't understand the bible but my instincts tell me to work and vote for the candidate that lives his words. Ron Paul is a righteous man in my book. He does what he says and he is the most humble person I have ever met. He is such a wonder role model and it is my hope that some of these Nazi's and people with anger in their hearts will come around to follow the way of Dr. Paul Peace, Prosperity, Freedom for all.

The book of Revelations

must be read in context! Most people think everything revolves around them. The book says at the beginning, middle, and end, that the events were going to happen soon. The book is plainly written to the 7 Asian churches in Nero's day. The book is clearly written before 70AD and the distruction of the Temple. There was one ambiguous statement by the early church Father Ireneus that people took the wrong way and such interpretation made people think the book was written 20 or more years later. When you clear up the date the book was written then you easily understand most of the events to be for that time.

Popular theology today is big business hype that makes lots of money and keeps the sheep in control by fear and entertainment. Prophesy is important, but the bible's primary focus is on holiness of heart (just like the RP Revolution is about positive action and good character). The professing churches today are not holy but places of entertainment and hype. They do not even believe the words of Jesus that He can "save His people from their sins." We have the same problem presenting the message of liberty to them with the Ron Paul Revolution. They do not believe in peace on earth generally with this faulty endtimes philosophy. They would rather believe some leader and their own experience rather than the testimony of Jesus and His apostles. "Therefore dear friends, since we have such promises, we should wash ourselves clean from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." 2 Cor. 7:1. No rather, the message is gloom and doom for our characters and earthly futures in many churches today, but also riches and war! Now I am not hear to prove the bible is true or a lie, only to say that most church people today do not believe the bible with their philosophies. It is not going to be easy to preach the gospel to the churches today. They do not even accept the testimony of Jesus Christ! This will take a lot of effort on our part to reason with them. Their influence is so big that if it is united it will decide the election. So we need to prevent it going over to Huckabee as it is heading.

Be Very Courageous

I really appreciate your sincere question. I hope that many Christians who are pre-trib will read this and understand that what you are being taught about the pre-trib rapture is unbiblical and defeatist. The Bible never teaches us just to accept what is coming and roll over. I have heard so many times “Why does it matter? The Church will not be here anyways.” That teaching and that attitude makes me sick. It is not found in the Bible. It is completely contrary to the rest of scripture. What better way for the world to go to hell then for Christians not to be full of courage and resist evil and tyranny! This attitude has caused many Christians not to even get involved with elections. This kind of teaching has many consequences including the “George Bush is a great Christian” mindset that too many have bought in to. I blame mainly the pastors who have led their congregations into a fearful, defeatist mindset. We must be bold and we must resist the destruction of our nation, which is taking place right now in our lifetimes. Our trust should always be in the Lord and we should always ask for wisdom and discernment.

I believe that God has raised-up Ron Paul. We still have a choice to make. Will we vote for evil, or for wolves in sheep’s clothing? Or will we make the godly choice? Christians, have you prayed for discernment and wisdom lately in order for you make the best choice for president?

Just because prophecy is inevitable doesn’t mean that we know exactly when it will occur. There will be some definite signs but those haven’t specifically taken place. What we do know is that God is merciful. He has given many nations second chances. We never know if this current push for one-world government will succeed or fail. All of the previous attempts have failed. I believe God is giving us an opportunity as a nation to reject one-world government with the candidacy of Ron Paul. Prophecy is certain, the actual time of fulfillment we do not know.

You are not missing anything. The bible is very clear on there being a one world fascist government. However, the bible is also clear that the man of sin will not be revealed until the restrainer is removed. As Christians, we need to keep in mind that we are the restrainers and that is exactly what our movement is about. Restraining.

Unbelievable!

For "centuries" TV evangelists have tried to dupe their audiences with interpretation of the book of Revelation. They have always been wrong, because it is not for us to know, as the good book says. However, they won't stop because the money is too good. Tell you what, you leave the end time (which could be a hundred years or a millennium away; or could be tomorrow) in God's hands, make sure you are ready when the final trumpet blasts sounds, and vote for Ron Paul. Give him some of your hard-earned wages as well. You won't find a more honest man in any of our pulpits today. If only God had ministers in his Kingdom like Ron Paul. I'm sure he has, but I have yet to meet them. Ron Paul has to brothers in the ministry. I'm sure they all of a kind. Pity I don't live anywhere close to even one of them. Rev. Chuck Baldwin says, "Christians vote for Ron Paul. Your religious rights are protected under the Constitution. He alone respects the Constitution." End of story.

Any Gnostics here?

I'm not a full blown Gnostic, but have read the Gnostics and several books about them (Google Elaine Pagels). These are books of the bible that were "conveniently" left out of the whole bible. These books were also written/inspired by Apostles of Jesus. Why were these not included in the "real" bible? It was a matter of the church's heiarchy losing control of Christians in that day. It was a control issue.

"The kingdom of heaven is in all of US". I love their message and think they are very relevant to the overall message that Jesus wanted to convey to the people.

Interestingly, Judas was not the man that the ages have portrayed him to be. The thing is, he was probably Jesus' closest and loyal confidant.

King James left out some books of the Bible

The 'control freaks' didn't approve the whole thing as written and passed down through the centuries. This is part of the answer to those who claim the Bible contradicts itself. It wouldn't if the entire thing was read through in context & included parts the control freaks eliminated. Register & vote for more freedom instead of just handing over the Presidency to more of the same control freaks that got us into this mess!

I would say this:

I'm a Christian, and yes I believe in end time prophecy. BUT, for Pete's sake, what kind of logic is it that "It will happen eventually so I can't fight it!"

If something burns in your microwave or oven, do you just let it get worse or do you put it out and thank God you didn't burn your house down?

Even IF the NWO/whatever else is inevitable, that doesn't mean I'm going to roll over and let it happen.. Maybe God wants us to put up a fight? Ever think of it that way?

If the people on the Mayflower had this thinking, we wouldn't be here right now...

(And I know you could mention when Peter resisted Jesus' arrest - that Jesus rebuked him - but the difference was that they ALL KNEW IT WAS TIME. Jesus knew when Judas walked up exactly what was going to happen. But we don't know if the NWO/whatever is 1, 5, 10, or 20 years off!!!!!)

Pope John Paul II of blessed memory and Pope Benedict XVI as Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger denounced Bush's plan to attack Iraq. Cardinal Ratzinger said, "A preventive war is not in the Catechism."

More recently in his Easter "Urbi et Orbi" address, Pope Benedict XVI called for a NEGOTIATED solution to the Iranian nuclear crisis. And called for "peace to finally prevail over the tragic violence that continues mercilessly to claim victims" in Iraq. Ron Paul is the only candidate that uses, as a policy foundation, the "just war" philosophy of Catholic Doctor of the Church, St. Thomas Aquinas.

While you will never get an out-and-out endorsement by the Pontiff, you can certainly claim that Ron Paul's opinion and plan of action on one of the most serious issues of the day, war in the Middle East, is supported by the public writings and speeches of the Holy Father, the Vicar of Christ, the leader of the Catholic Church.
