This might sound crazy but,

It costs money for the Federal Reserve to print dollars. When I say cost, I mean a cost for materials. When those dollars become beat up, ripped, etc., they have to take them out of circulation and print more to replace them. If every Ron Paul supporter started to accidentally rip every bill that passed through their hands, could this not cost the Federal Reserve potentially millions of dollars replacing these bills? Am I just thinking crazy, and too small scale, I mean accidents do happen, but what effect could this possibly have? They cost us money every day by accident, and Ron Paul supporters have accidents, especially with how fragile paper is.

I suspect that the Fed is not replacing our old, worn out bills as rapidly as they used to. I run a vending business and most of the bills running through my machines are dirty, torn, faded or dilapidated. It is rare to see a new crisp dollar bill. Also, my bank gives me back the coins that are damaged. They will not accept them. When I asked what I was suppose to do with them, they told me to pawn them off on someone else.

LOL!

Just last weekend I got a $1 bill as change and it was stamped "Ron Paul for President 2008" in red ink. Haven't seen one of those in a while and it brought a smile to my face when I realized what it was.

Guess I need to get one of those 2012 stamps now.

They won't replace it for

Tog, please alter your post. If you want to affect the system, stop using Federal Reserve notes, but do not destroy them; after all, they are not your property.

umm... hello.... think....

Who do you think pays the bill for the federal reserve? we do. you really think they take money out of their piggy banks to cover the cost of the damaged bills? they'll just print more, take all the money they print for themselves first before the value of the dollar drops, and then we'll pay them back at interest for the new bills.
