We need to get guys like Peter Schiff into the government (and to help Dr. Paul), to start shaking the trees to see how many traitors fall out. This could be one way of actually getting our country back. I think we all know that the big problem with the U.S. is the international money lenders. 2010 will soon be upon us and if we are not all embroiled in a world war we might have a chance.

During his weekly radio show on January 7th, Peter Schiff discussed the support for a Senate candidacy run at www.schiff2010.com. During that discussion, Mr. Schiff voiced some optimistic sentiments:
I'm not running for anything, but apparently there's an effort to convince me to run or to draft me. They are trying to put together an organization and raise funds -- and they're hoping, in the field of dreams "if you build it they will come" -- and if they can create an organization and fund it that they might be able to convince me to run for Senate.

I am sure some people are anti-jewish--but I think most people who support Ron Paul (especially if you read Mises, Rothbard, and half the writers on Lewrockwell.com) would have to be pretty stupid to not notice that a HUGE portion of the Austrian Economics movement has been theorized, chronicled and reported by jews.
Schiff is AWESOME and, like Murray Sabrin and Rothbard to name just a few, his being jewish doesn't mean that he supports crimes against humanity by the Israelie State, just like me being an Anglo-American does not mean I support crimes against humanity by the U.S.
Let's not call eachother names! I think we can all accomplish a lot more if we try to be friendly!

Schiff is a Jew. I'd hate to see you'all instantly hate him since that hate seems to be a reoccurring theme around here. if Dr. Paul knew how you were talking about Jews I don't think he'd want to associate with many of you. I'm finding it increasingly more hostile around here which is not a message of freedom or liberty. The list of Jews with dual citizenship was pretty ugly and not factual. Please don't allow Dr Paul's trusted economic adviser to make that list. I was ashamed for you yesterday. You acted like skin heads more than patriots.

Well if you are talking about the Gaza stuff that's been posted- I would be a guilty party to posting the articles on what Israel is doing. Oh, and guess what....I'm part Jewish. However I am not from Israel nor do I consider myself anything other than an American.
America should not aide or support Israel, nor should they do either for Palestine. America should stay out of foreign affairs and make no entangling alliances. I think Dr. Paul would agree with that, and I think that most people here don't have a problem with me being half Jewish.
I get so fed up with people trying to hide behind their ancestors or some form of supposed moral obligation. The only obligation we have as Americans is to protect our freedom from those who would usurp it. That includes Israel who constantly wants our aide which is obtained from us by illegal taxation.
I am proud of who I am and where my family came from- but wrong is wrong.

Dodd lost a lot of faith w/ cheerleding the bail-out
bill.
Mary Schapiro is up for SEC head & she has baggage & a law suit just came out against her for merging regulatory industries & making money off it.
Her appointment hearing is this week & Dodd is in-charge.
If Peter is serious, he should be all over how Dodd deals with this. It would also make him more main-stream cause if he can recommend a honest SEC chair, it will show that the "free market idea people" still can acknowledge a need for honest regulation.

I would like to see a place to pledge money for a run, since he has not decided yet to run. It would be a good way to guage the potential financial support out there.

anyway... i listened to schiff at the hard assets conference in san francisco... he was asked about running for office - POTUS (i think). he seemed against the idea saying something to the effect of "being in office is pointless, look at ron paul. he's been in the house for 20 years and no one listens to him." something like that.
