**Cast your vote to get legalizeliberty back as a moderator**

Legalizeliberty was suspended from his moderator duties. I do not know the reason, and do not care, unless the owner wants to state it.

I know this is not a democracy, and will respect Michael Nystroms' decision, even though I don't agree with it..( I didn't like the moderators idea in the first place)
Legalize was a positive force here, and whatever mistakes he made could have been easily corrected.
The good far outweighs the bad, and I would gladly trade a couple of well known whiners and troublemakers for him in a heartbeat....

I had no problem with him being a moderator. Maybe if those that agree show their support, Michael will rethink his decision.
I vote that legalizeliberty stays a moderator. What say you?

While this poster had no problem with him being a moderator, I did, due to my stated reason above.

That's really about all there is to say.

That same commitment and passion has driven him to be extremely well researched and provide us with an incredible font of information - Stuff that I and many others can't find.

A mod should be able to discern fact from fiction. LL can and does.

As for his passion - at times it's an inspiration.

Still, it is Michael's site and his decision is the bottom line.

But I'm sure LL will be more prudent. If votes are any influence, I vote yes.

so I can properly respond.

Michael did the best he could based on the information he had.
I did brake his rule of not posting 9/11 posts on the front page.

I was not overzealous most of the time I only warned people and said things like peace patriots have a beer relax...its a long fight....
When there are in fact 10 mods and you are the only one open about it all kinds of attention arrives at your feet.It was very stressful....but I did cherish my job of making peace among us...in the process I became friends with Rhino who some here saw as a troll.(he is a blessing)

2 weeks on the job versus the experience Michael has...
I am sorry for the mistakes....perhaps if I did not have those beers I would make better choices.

This whole thing made me come closer to all of you.
I even started to like Horatius and see a lot of good work that he did and his personal opinions on 9/11 are just that-his personal opinions.

Last but not least I want to say a Thank you directly from my heart to Jefferson and all who stood up for me in this.
Michael and mods are doing a great job and DP traffic is moving up.

priest Father Popieluszko murdered by communists in my area said to me "you must be flying high above the other birds as an eagle fly high"
this priest was killed tortured thrown in the vistula river in october 1984.Next year I left Poland..as an 18 year old all on my own.(pilgrimage to Vatican to see at that time Polish pope was a way to escape).

Why re-instate a known problem? My post have been lasting longer than 30 mins. since his "correction". I don't know if he/she was the one censoring me, however the problem has stopped. I think Michaels message was loud and clear. No need to reverse course now.

Legalize Liberty has NOT been banned from this site

I appreciate his efforts to help. And I agree with the posters below that he is a super cool guy. He is still free to participate here, as he was before, and has not been banned from the site.

However, for reasons that I will not go into, he is no longer a moderator. This is a decision that I made, and for reasons that I have communicated to him.

People who are voting to "keep Liberty as a moderator" are not aware of what has happened over the past two weeks. I don't want to turn this into a drama, so I will say only this:

At the end of the day, I am responsible when people have posts / comments deleted from this site. It is something I take seriously.

When people say their comments were deleted unfairly, it is me who must go back and figure out what happened, and then answer and defend the decision of the moderator (or not). I have empowered moderators to help me when I am not online, to delete the most egregious transgressions - as outlined in the guidelines. If I cannot defend the decisions of a moderator, and the moderator continually makes similar decisions, then I cannot keep that person as a moderator.

I have empowered the mods to help make my life easier. Unfortunately, most of today has been very difficult for me, as I try to track down information, find out what happened, explain my decisions to multiple parties, etc.

Days like today only make my life harder and do not materially improve the content of the site.
