Keeping the Love in the rEVOLution

"...there has...been a consistent charge that Ron Paul supporters are rude, intolerant bullies when it comes to reasoned political discourse.
"If someone who hasn’t thought about politics in years stumbles unto a message board, and sees even one [rude] comment...then that might be enough to validate the stereotype.
"...no matter what we do, there will be plenty of smears thrown our way. But remember not to focus on the loudmouths; our goal isn’t to convince them. Rather, the goal (in an online forum, say) is to convince the ninety-nine people reading the website who don’t post anything."

I could not have demonstrated my point half as well as you just did.
Your ranting, your invective, was not even amusing. I admit I had to drag myself through it, and still I skipped much. You don't know me, you know nothing about me, yet you proclaim to be able to describe me. How much more lke those you despise could you get?
Your confusion is simple: No one disagrees there is a tremendous ammount weighing in this election, and at this point in American History.
HOWEVER, this forum, and this movement, is about ELECTING Dr. Ron Paul as President of the United States. If you are not interested or concerned about the election, why are you here?
Ron Paul has a clear message, he states it masterfully. Why do you feel the need to cloud it with your agenda? I am not denying anything you stand for, so waxing poetic on your issues is pointless.
Dr Paul has a VERY ambitious agenda. His issues are huge and will take a tremendous effort on his and our parts once he is elected. And it is an electible agenda. Why do you have so much difficulty accepting the idea if we move Dr. Paul's agenda forward and he is elected, over the next 8 years we have the opportunity to do so much more?
My comments were not about your free speach, they were about staying on message. Something adults with a goal have no problem with.
If you want to flame me, rather than turn off potential supporters, do it "offline" -- folkler@yahoo.com
Anti-Paul rottenness converted me
I really want to emphasize the author's point. I truly believe it is of utmost importance to be civil and breathtakingly polite. We Paul supporters know we are facing issues of incredible gravity, so we do tend to get pretty excited. Let's follow Dr. Paul's example, and emulate his behavior.
As for the non-mainstream among us, I'm not entirely comfortable with the notion that we shouldn't honestly say what we feel, but it does carry a significant risk if delivered poorly. I think it's usually ok as long as Dr. Paul's positions aren't misrepresented, but we should be careful not to leave that too open for interpretation.
I think it's good for the country to see that the message of freedom unites us. It allows us to stand shoulder to shoulder when we may not all see the world in the same way, look the same, or have arrived at the campaign via the same list of grievances. We all want to be free. It doesn't hurt to pick and choose what we focus on with different types of undecided voters, and biting our tongues occasionally may vindicate us in the long run, but if we all behave as focus groups rather than free people I'm not sure what the result will be.
I encountered Ron Paul when I was working as a liberal activist on a campaign against him. The misbehavior of my colleagues was a contributing factor in my conversion. Someone had scrawled a swastika across his forehead on a copy of his campaign video in our office. I thought, "Boy this guy must be really bad!" and I watched the video. I liked not only what he had to say, but how he said it. His tone swayed me more than I realized at the time. It allowed me to receive the message. I was offended by the poor taste in the use of the nazi symbol. I found it deeply offensive, though it wasn't probably given much thought by the offender. Incidentally, we almost always won our campaigns, but *not* the one against Ron Paul.
A direct, honest, sincere, and compassionate approach cannot injure us much. We really ought to avoid using derisive labels (though I'll admit I use them plenty in my home) when we are discussing our adversaries with people we don't know well. As a matter of character, it might not hurt too much to always take this approach. Challenging ideas, facts and policies carries more credibility than insulting people. It makes us look smarter. It also tends to deal more damage to the opposition.
In a perfect world, our adversaries, (or their supporters) may even have an opportunity to rethink their assumptions...about us and Ron Paul,
peace.

great response
We have some folks on Daily Paul that seem to enjoy provoking shouting matches. Who knows their motive...psychological problems or deception from another campaign...who knows? But it's pretty easy to spot, and it's reasonably easy to ignore.
Welcome
to the campaign. Please don't let the extreme view of SOME of his supporters doesn't dissuade you.
I'm in a couple of our local Ron Paul meetup groups and I've talked with members of other groups as well. Every once in awhile we need to remind members this is about Ron Paul's message and getting him elected. True there is a bigger picture involved, but we have to stay focused to achieve our goal.
I also like to take my lead from Ron Paul with his dedication, honesty, integrity, and civility.
thx
thank you!

you admit you were a mistaken lib but proclaim you are in the know now.
some of us have been standing with and alongside ron for 20 yrs.
you have no right to tell us how to act or speak.
personally, we dont care about your opinion.
ron is just being himself, but make no mistake about it, his best supporters are outspoken and sometimes loud and rude.
this is a war, not a tea party.

to clarify
Yes I admit I was mistaken, but I have been a Ron Paul supporter for over a decade. I have stood beside him, read his writings, and listened to him. I even took an economics class so that I could understand some of these things better. He was my congressman and I corresponded with him about my concerns. I sent his office a letter pledging to give to his campaign before it was ever formally announced, and I sent him money before he even had online donations working, before anyone from his campaign ever asked me for any money.
I am a real Ron Paul supporter, but I admit that I do admire the fact that you beat me to it. I guess I wasn't born perfect. : )
So I have been thinking intently about history, the state of our republic, the Constitution, and the people's ability to comprehend liberty for at least a decade. I still consider myself a liberal, though of the *classical* variety. I am not telling anyone how to act or what to think, though I am sharing my view. Our country is in deep trouble. I appreciate anyone who has the courage to tell the world. I screamed at the top of my lungs on Saturday at the Freedom March.
In discourse, however, I believe it is important to be civil. If we expect other people to hear our words then we probably need to give them the opportunity to do so. I am sharing what I think because in practicality we have to care at least somewhat about how other people perceive us if we aim to convert them to our cause. Ron Paul's ideas are counter-intuitive to those who have been taught in government schools. They don't easily fit on a bumper sticker. They require that the recipients not close their eyes or ears until the message is spoken, otherwise it will not be heard. I've converted several people I know simply through open, engaging conversations. I say "I" converted them, but it was really the message, once they were able to hear it.
Be furious. I don't blame you. You have plenty of VERY good reasons, as do I. Perhaps you can yell, and attract the people who are pissed off, and I will simply speak and attract the people who are still deciding? In that case, perhaps our combined numbers will be greater? Time will tell. This is an amazing political event unlike any I've ever personally encountered, completely driven by each individual, including you and I.
I do want this to be a peaceful rEVOLution, while we still have the opportunity.

nah, dont obligate people to do things your way.
You got a lot of nerve telling people what to do and how to do it.
This isn’t just Ron Paul for president.
This is also Alex Jones who supported Ron Paul campaign after he lost his election in Texas.
It’s about mark keornke who was framed and did 7 yrs in prison for being a patriot, a friend and avid supporter of Ron Paul, mark does a daily 3 hour show on we the people radio net work, he's Michigan militia and he and his listeners and followers, most of whom have fought this fight for the last 20 yrs.
Are gearing up for war, once they use the laws they passed to suppress the American people and merge us into a world government.
Bill cooper was murdered warning the masses such as Alex and mark and myself. I woke up in 92.
I’ve personally done 9 months in jail over 2 stints for contempt, I did no crime, the sheriff refused to arrest me so the judge sent the local cops to get me, my crime,
I wrote a letter talking about world gov and said I despised this socialist form of government, add to that I was well know as Ohio militia.
My house was raided 2 times, 4 grand in firearms stolen for no reason, need I remind you I was never charged with a crime but taken on civil contempt charges for telling the people the truth. I was to appeal, I spent 3 grand on lawyers and was told an appeal would take 1 yr and the trial wouldn't start for 7 months. So I just did my time.
Before that, while I was a fire fighter I caught the cops and city gov people running a prostitution ring and sent a roads superintendent to prison for 16 yrs for molesting 40 little girls in Bainbridge and aurora Ohio.
I was shot in the back, and the councilmen who I grew up with and was a fellow fire fighter told the drug dealers I was a nark and then they had a huge bust.
Thank god I figured out who it really was and ratted him out.
They found him in the ditch on Harvard ave in Cleveland damn near dead instead of me, he had both legs amputated.
WE ARE AT WAR, with traitors, many of us have been in the trenches for 2 decades.
And here you come along, just recently on board telling us what to do.
All of us, sheriff jack mclamb, Alex Jones, mark keornke all way too many others to mention have earned our opinion good or bad.
Some of us have died for that privilege.
WE ARE AT WAR, with socialist traitors. Ron Paul keeps the level down as to not bring condemnation upon himself, but.
He is a patriot; he's been in this for 2 decades right along with us.
He knows this is our last chance. They will kill him if he's elected and abolishes the federal reserve, and he is going to do it as Lincoln and Kennedy attempted to do, but we all know they didn’t get very far, it's hard to bring real money back when your brains are blown out.
You need to stop feminizing what's happening. We are at war. The shooting isn’t far off if we don’t win.
I hate to say this, but I will because it's true, they control all the gears of the election process. They pick the electors and have the goods on them or will threaten to kill them as they did perot.
Ron Paul WILL NOT WIN It will not happen.
But we have to fight a good fight; we're waking people up and mobilizing them into a UNIFIED force.
We need 5 to 10 % of the male population (roughly 30 million) to fight world gov and have a chance of winning and keeping our land and heritage, so far every nation has failed and lost their self-government and are now UN puppets.
We’re at war, they passed the laws allowing the police and military to come and get us. A new bill declares anyone who disagrees with the government policy regardless of what it is as terrorists and allows for them to be carted off and murdered and if you speak about it, their allowed to cart you off.
They on the phones, the puters, the emails, they got informants everywhere, they pay school kids and give them prizes and bigmacks for tattle tale squads.
There are cams everywhere.
You got a screw loose if you think this is a normal civil election.
This is anything but normal; I dare say it's the last, their agenda calls for world gov in 2012.
Everyone already knows bush signed a law on my birthday, march 23rd in 2004 agreeing to merge with Canada and Mexico into the American union, where there are no borders or nation states.
Now you know why they wont fence the border.
They stole our gold and silver standard and gave us paper and have taken back 96 percent of the value of that.
Our dollars are worth 6 cents as compared to a 1960-dollar backed by silver.
This is it, the last election. The end of America if we don’t over come this,
You are the one who's out of place.
Go sit in the corner and mind your own buiz if peoples comments bother you, remember the 1st amendment?
That’s what this is about.
The 1st amendment protects unpopular free speech, not politically correct speech.
The very thing you condemn was sooo important to our founders they made it the first amendment and backed it up with guns in the second amendment.
You need to relearn history.
Those outspoken people are feared by our enemy, the socialist new worlders, they don’t fear you peace luving quiet and polite pacifists who will do noting when they come for us.
I can see you now telling Patrick Henry, as he paced the floor for 4 days and stomped and raised his voice almost all day everyday.
Our chains are forged, I know not course you take, but for me...give me liberty or give me death
He didn’t say, shhhh be polite.
Polite people are sissies; they are perceived as weak and are pushovers.
But those that speak their mind and piss the other side off are feared and respected out of fear to say the least.
You are the one who's out of place; you have no right to tell anyone to do anything anyway any day of the week.
Worry about you, let others worry about them.
We’re all in this together.
I for one want loud out spoken people who refuse to compromise and who stick to their guns.
Such as constitutionalist Ron Paul
Ron Paul knows what’s going on, that Kennedy was not murdered by the lone gunman, he knows the fed is a scam and that 911 doesn’t add up that bush had the plan to go to Iraq before he even got elected. He knows they are coming for us real Americans and it looks like it'll happen soon.
He’s putting his life on the line. I'll kiss your azz if they don’t kill him.
You think he doesn’t think about that? That he's on a suicide mission?
Now you sit at home, all comfy, not a bruise on ya telling us what to do.
YOU GOT NO RIGHT
AND IT'S 100% THE WRONG APROACH.
They need to know, they need to hear they need to be reminded everyday that we will not yield.
They need to know we're pizzed off and that we're going to come for them if we get the chance.
Make no mistake about it, if Ron is elected, many people in power today will swing from the gallows when their treason is exposed when all the records are opened up as Ron said he would do.
We are at war.
They need to fear us, they need to run from us, they need to be forced into reactions and events that they are not prepared ahead of time for so we got a chance in hell of winning our freedom back
Your approach does noting but go along with their demands.
Be passive and polite little slaves.
The point is, you got no right telling anyone to do anything, especially until you earn your right to speak and be heard as many of us already have.
I could care a less about your response; I'm only concerned about America, my comrades and YOUR FREEDOMS.
Your opinion is trivial and meaningless to me. To us.
Your missing 99% of the big picture. Go out and get involved, save someone, change something, take a hit and rebound and continue to fight even though you’re scared to death because you know they will kill you eventually.
I know you think your right, but you are not.
I’d rather listen to a heart felt rant, then a polite meaningless sissy post.
And many many people feel the same way.
It’s when you’re over the target that you get the most flak.
To hell with what the other side says, they’re gonna say something anyway, every time you stop being yourself to appease them you surrender and loose a little bit at a time.
History remembers William Wallace, uncompromising, loud, out spoken
And has completely forgotten your polite great great grand father as it will you.
I have a file, I’m on the terrorist list for being a former militia member and it’s only former because I moved and have a small group rather then a large public group of men I formed in 99
IN MARCH OF 99 I WAS IN A PIX standing on the front steps of the indiana baptest temple stand off with the leaders of 11 other state militias.
later that day we ( 1250) of us marched 3 blocks and surrounded the indiana federal reserve and scremed we will not pay your tax no more, i havn't paid it since 87. as we rounded the corner to the fed building every news cam in the country was there and who other the ME, was the first person leading the crowd with my german shepherd next to me.
i got home and everyone called me a terrorists, i had crack heads telling me i was fucked up, My best friend of 35 yrs became a federal informant against me, i heard a message on his answering machine from a federal agent asking for a response to questions about ,me, they tried to get me to make hand grenades and blow people up. but his girl who like me played it to me.
History will remember me, I changed laws in my town, I cleaned out pimps and pedophiles.
And I was loud, outspoken, uncompromising and very demanding they follow they law the whole way. And I won. I was on tv, the radio, the front page of every paper.
I didn’t get there by being quiet and polite.
The actions you attempt to force on others is a defeatist course of actions.
I say, god bless them rude , outspoken people, it proves theres a conviction in them that’s un yielding and it inspires me and others.
Alex Jones wasn’t offered 1 million dollars to shut up for being quiet and polite.
( he told them go to hell)
this is an open forum, it’s free speech at the best.
Read the posts and if you don’t like the message or the word, go fuk off and walk away.

Why have we all banded together?
Is it to support Ron Paul, or to shrilly scream our views at the world? This article is brilliant, and makes probably the most important point moving forward for this grass roots movement.
We gt the worlds notice on November 5th, we will again on December 16th? SO WHAT? If the public at large sees example after example of Ron Paul supporters as screaming adolescents it won't matter if Dr. Paul has a Billion dollars, he will be a "wacko" because of US.
If we can not focus our attention on the reasons this country can UNITE behind Dr. Paul, then all we do is aid fox/cnn/ and the whole political machine and DIVIDE our nation.
Stick to Dr. Paul's message. This is who we are trying to elect. NOT YOU. NOT a 9/11 truther. If 9/11 was an inside job, don't you thing President Paul will find out? Don't you trust him that much?
Why force others to accept YOUR view, or not support Dr. Paul? That is what is happening. People are noticing Dr. Paul in my work place now... And I have been told, "I can't support someone who thinks 9/11 was an inside job". So then I have to show Dr. Paul does not say that, only some who support him do.
For the love of god people, this is a Presidential campain, not an IRC channel. I am not against your views, I truly am not. But I want, desperately, for Dr. Paul to be ELECTED. This will not happen if we continue to give those who are against us "proof" Dr. Paul is a front for non-mainstream issues.
Freedom is a mainstream issue. Sound money is a mainstream issue. Ending the war in Iraq, cutting government spending, etc,etc... These are what will get Dr. Ron Paul elected President.
If you go to Dr. Paul's website, and go the issues tab, and only stick to these issues, we can't lose.
But if we are going to get in pissing matches over every little smear attempted; if we are going to push a different agenda than Dr Paul's, we will may just defeat the revolution all by ourselves.
I don't like Mona Charen. I never did. She is a neocon appologist in my opinion. However, her article recently against Ron Paul, was really about US, not Dr. Paul.
I am, like all of you, very, very angry at the condition of our country. But I am not going to persuade anyone with my anger. So I bite it back, I am polite, I correct misunderstandings, I point out fallacies, and I IGNORE attempts to bait me.
And yes, damn it is hard.
My $400 ($0.02 in 1912)
Anyone who puts Paul and 9/11 truth in the same sentence ...
I'm so tired of the 9/11 "truthers". They make us look so bad. Shut up and work at getting Ron Paul elected, not going around talking about 9/11 "truth" and his name in the same sentence. Do you realize MOST Americans think you sound insane? They're not going to listen. They don't care about the facts. They don't care about the peculiarities.
Stay on message -- out of Iraq, civil liberties, less govermment. It's a simple message that will win anyone over if they hear it long enough.
I agree Ron Paul and 9/11
I agree Ron Paul and 9/11 "truth" shouldn't be mentioned together. First, it's harmful to the campaign and second it's completely unrelated as Ron Paul has disavowed 9/11 "truth."

he's running at our behest.
i dont even live in texas and at the behest of alex jones, the 911 truth mouth peice i donated 100 dollars to rons 1992 congressional campain.
where were you ?
and now you think he should abandon us to be president.
I'll tell you what, if he did as you said, his campain would die that day.
it's the truth movement that mobolized and got him this far.

There, there now, dellitoso
dellitoso, you are NOT the kind of person we Ron Paul supporters want to speak for us. Your brainwashing tactics mostly used by nazis and neo-cons, i.e., "It's a simple message that will win anyone over if they hear it long enough," makes me embarassed for you. You say as paraphrased, "Shut up and don't go around talking about 9/11 truth and his name in the same sentence." And would you suggest waterboarding as a punishment for those of us that violate the special "dellitoso censorship guidelines?"
I urge you to distance yourself from our Ron Paul Revolution and seek professional help.
Why are you so nasty?
No one suggested torture. Ron Paul's campaign has nothing to do with the truth of 9/11.
We don't need the mainstream American public, the people that will vote Ron Paul into office, to agree that "9/11 was an inside job."
Obviously no one is forcing you to do anything so there are no penalties. It is good for people to express their viewpoints and saying you want someone to change their message is also an exercise of free speech.
I don't think we are doing Ron Paul any service by turning on each other.
And dellitoso, thanks for providing your point of view.
We have banded together to support Ron Paul
Amen and amen!
Well, we do get a little touchy....
when Ron Paul supporters see consistent biases against a true gentleman and Patriot. How, and why, does this happen? We know the established Dems and GOP's have a hot potato on their hands with Ron Paul. Why do they feel so threatened? To the point of organizing shameful tactics to "hide" Ron Paul? It's almost as if the political parties and media/press is scrambling around with the agenda of Anybody, but Ron Paul. And that ticks me off. Let's don't stand for it! Go Ron Go!
alan laney
Why? You Want To Know Why?
You want to know why the neo-cons hate Ron Paul?
Please allow me to tell you why:
Americans life in a well crafted lie, so strong and so complete, they assume the all pervasive lie is the truth.
This corporate imposed illusion by way of main stream media is designed to create opinions and manufacture consent in what they refer to as "the uwashed herd." The result is that when most people voice their opinions they are unaware those opinions have been planted in their brains by the corporate myth builders and reinforced by everyday group-think.
Ron Paul seems odd to many people because he is real and they are not. Ron Paul is the embodiment of reality clashing with the corporate imposed illusion. He is slowly forcing the oligarchs to face their worst enemy, namely, the truth.
The corporate oligarchs did away with President Kennedy because he was an "outsider." They saw to it that Bobby Kennedy and MLK Jr. were equally dispatched.
They participated in the 9/11 attacks on NYC using Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rudi Guiliani as bag men so they could further there "progress" toward the New World Order. For example, they don't care that the USA has been invaded by 15 million illegal aliens because they have eliminated the old borders and constructed what is being called the North American Union.
I love Ron Paul. I love the truth. I am a registered Republican and will vote for Ron Paul in the CA primary and the general election.
And I think Ron Paul should live in a bullet-proof pope mobile 24 hours a day from now on because he is a hot potato and growing hotter by the moment.
CFR
When you say "They" you are??? refering to the CFR, are you not???
I have seen the Kennedy video of the SS guys being told to get off the car when it started on the motorcade thru Dallas.
Nope
We are not going to get very far in the mainstream if our message is about how the 'elite' is out to get Ron Paul or the rest of us. Whether it is true or not the majority of voters won't believe and probably won't spend the time to listen.
I am tired of hearing people accuse our Government for 9/11. I agree there are enough holes and inconsistencies to warrant more investigation but I don't see evidence Cheney or any other American was involved. The links are circumstantial and accusations lose credibility when conclusions are drawn without enough facts.
Let's concentrate on winning this election for us and Ron Paul!!!
wow
if you really believe theres no evidence our gov wasnt involved in 911
1 you need to research the eye witnesess and survivors who were feet away from bombs that went off before the planes even hit, if you believe theres no evidence of foul play in flight 93 when there was no wreckage and no body parts
i was a fire fighter in ohio, I knew the county coroner, she said there was not 1 drop of blood let alone a body part.
planes dont evaporate into thin air when/if they crash
if you really believe theres no evidence to 911 truth
you are an idiot.
ve va le revolution
But was it an inside job?
I didn't say there was no evidence. We don't have proof that "They participated in the 9/11 attacks on NYC using Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rudi Guiliani as bag men".
I don't dispute things don't add up. I say credibility is lost when drawing a conclusion without all the facts. Aren't we fighting for an investigation and the release of information? That Cheney, Rumsfeld and Guiliani were involved is not the only possible conclusion from the evidence.
Yup
"We are not going to get very far in the mainstream if our message is about how the 'elite' is out to get Ron Paul or the rest of us."
Take the blinders off. We have multiple concerns and the ostracism at debates and in the media must be addressed.
"Whether it is true or not the majority of voters won't believe and probably won't spend the time to listen."
R:
Ron Paul is the voice of one crying in the wilderness, "Make straight your gait, prepare ye the way, throw the money changers out of the temple, etc." Ron Paul is the one honest man perpetually sought after in Greek Lore. Ron Paul sings sweet truth as music to the ears of those who love the truth. But to those who prefer evil over righteousness, Ron Paul is a nuisance. The battle lines were drawn a million years ago.
"I am tired of hearing people accuse our Government for 9/11."
Don't be a wuss. Stand tall and take it like a man. Cheney, Wolfowitz, Crystal, Rumsfeld, and like minded neo-cons produced their blueprint in 1999 entitled, "Project For A New American Century." A year later they stoled the presidency, attacked the United States of America, and invaded the middle east for the sake of stealing natural resources. It's all there in the PNAC blueprint.
"I don't see evidence Cheney or any other American was involved."
On September 11, 2007, Cheney was in charge of the American military war game called "Hijacked Airlines." He personally allowed the projectiles to slam into the World Trade Centers. Google the name, "Norman Mineta" and read his 9/11 Comission testimony. After the towers collapsed due to a controlled demolition (hundreds of witnesses have testified to the multiple explosions), Mayor Rudi Giuliani had the thousands of tons of scrap metal which were now the tower beams immediately exported as scrap metal to all parts of the world as investigators were held at bay. That's why the oligarchs are trying to reward him with the presidency -- that, and because he will continue to be a faithful little stooge.
"The links are circumstantial and accusations lose credibility when conclusions are drawn without enough facts."
The evidence is strewn all across the internet. Physicists, 9/11 firefighters, camera tripods rattling as the explosions rip downward ahead of the collapse -- but YOU have not researched the events of 9/11. Since YOU are not aware of the facts does not mean the facts are unknown to those of us who have done our homework.
"Let's concentrate on winning this election for us and Ron Paul!!!"
Educated individuals possessing expanded awareness are capable of concentrating on more than one thing at a time.
And finally,
This battle is of mythical proportions, of good versus evil, of light versus darkness and, unlike the religious myth, Lucifer has a chance of winning and is even now prevailing.
We need more than a make-believe savior plucked from ancient astrology. If Ron Paul can get elected and institute his agenda, he will be a true savior.
Yup.
I would add one more piece to the pie ...the "cash cow" of the people that really run things, the Federal Reserve Banking system. Paul is publically on record for his intention to get rid of this scam on the American public. That's how JFK got into trouble with his dad's CFR friends.
Yup, I agree - Ron Paul needs a "Paul mobile" ;)

I can't wait to see the "establishment" stumbling around in a stupor...LIKE THEY JUST SAW A BOMB BLAST at these primaries.
We'll have thousands of Paulites everywhere.
We have no geographical, financial or time barriers.

Communist Manifesto
Interestingly enough, I was going to post the Communist Manifesto a couple of days ago and got distracted. It is quite obvious our Government has been heading down this line for quite some time.
Re the IRS/Income Tax, I watched a video from a link on DailyPaul in the last couple of days that pretty much laid out how we are just screwed because it and the Fed are regulated under Private Law, outside of the Constittution, which is Public Law. I'm not sure if I fully duplicated the material, but as I understand things, just having money on a private credit card or in a private bank essentially obligates us to pay Income Taxes to the IRS. So, then, the question becomes, is the IRS a private concern?
Had the Fed never could have been developed as a Public concern as that would make it patently unconstitutional. The cabal at Jekyl Island were pretty smart at getting around the Constitution.
Between the legalspeak and gobbledegook, I am admittedly confused on the subject and really do not have the time to do heavy research, so I pay my taxes like a good boy.
(this is supposed to be a comment on the Communist Manifesto video link comment below)
Jekyll Island
This is a book??? Tell me more.
the book title is The Creature From Jekyll Island
The author is G Edward Griffin, and he goes into great detail explaining just what a tangled mess we are in. We actually found the book in a church library, they didn't want it, so they gave it to us.
But that man should play the tyrant over God, and find Him a better man than himself, is astonishing drama indeed!~~D. Sayers
There is no difference between an authoritarian government from the right or the left...F. A.Schaeffer
Jeckyll Island
"The creature from Jeckyll Island" is a book written by Mr. Griffin. He spoke for Ron many times and is quite interesting. You'll see a few of his speeches up on youtube. The Fed. Res. was formed, apparently, on Jeckyll Island, NC in 1913, I believe. I believe Andrew Jackson disbanded, essentially, the first Fed. as he felt it had way too much control of the country. Apparently, all Presidents that attempted to rid us of the Fed. were assassinated or it was attempted. Ask the Kennedy's, Andrew Jackson, Reagan......not sure if Lincoln too.
