Clarifying my point yesterday about "accidental"
What I tried to convey is that I think Dr. Paul and Peter Schiff appear to attribute this malfeasance to mere stupidity or ignorance of basic "1 + 1" = 2 economics/arithmetic. If there's an article or video wherein Dr. Paul and/or Peter Schiff state explicity that they understand that this is meltdown is a tactic of the larger strategy of dismantling this republic, I would love to read/see it.
As even the "icky" FDR stated, (paraphrasing here) nothing in politics happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way. So, again, I have never gotten the impression from either that they understand that this was/is planned and is going perfectly according to plan!

Or, as some people here have a problem believing, Ron Paul is saying EXACTLY what he means. He always says exactly what he means and he says what is on his mind. That is his hallmark.
He has explained it many times. There are different ideologies in Washington that are battling. The Progressives who have brought the United States to ruin have been the prevailing ideology since about the 1930s. They honestly think (for the most part) that their policies are good for everyone.
Why are you trying to attribute your own beliefs on Ron Paul? It's better just to listen to what he says and take him at face value.

I can see where your coming from..
However his position is not one of permanence, he relies on votes to stay in the game. That being said, it would be drastically unwise for him to issue political ammo over to his opponents by stating "Its all a government conspiracy!!". Paul is obviously not stupid and I am sure that those kinds of questions have not bypassed his assessment, but when your already being attacked by your opponents via media slander, such as "nutjob" or "conspiracy theorist", you should use tactical strategy to expose them- not naked berserker- charge through enemy lines- combat.
We need him out in the thick of it, and he knows that. I would rather him be a hot coal under their fat @ss than a small spark which burns bright but not long enough to start a fire. We can stoke the coal, but once the spark is gone- its gone. There are not enough of us yet to storm the castle, and we don't want to scare off the rest of the masses before we have the chance to convert them.
Schiff is in a different but similar situation. I feel that if he were to do anymore pushing than he already is, they would completely write him off as a loon. Don't get me wrong his is totally right, but charging forward before we are seriously armed seems foolish. We need him in the thick of it also (hopefully he will run), and media slandered political reputation, no matter how erroneous, stays with someone a lonnnnnng time! Once we get the horse out of the box, on the track, and around the corner, then we can start pouring on the speed to win the race.

but no, I would not suggest he or Peter use the words "government conspiracy" at all--a "CFR conspiracy", maybe, but not "government conspiracy". ;);)

Ron Paul continues to educate others,
even those who lack the ability to understand him and tune him out. When we feel discouraged, realize that he is facing the same kind of uniformed unaware individuals all the time, who believe the bailouts and more spending is the answer. That mind set is hard to fathom.
It is abhorrent to me....
that Dr. Paul who is doing his very best to warn and persuade his peers while being so marginalized by them. They are not listening nor have they been. The big fix is in, folks. And they are all in on it. Dr. Paul is our only real hope in the corrupt congress/senate.

It's good that Dr. Paul got his licks in, but they won't count in the short run. This is very much like a guy at a meeting of Mafia guys saying, "But this is illegal!" They just grunt and look at their watches.

Well, just for starters how bout when the South seceded from the union? Or the civil rights movement? It can happen.......the people are the creator of the government, thus the government derives its power from the people. Any power that is given can be taken away.

appears to think that this is accidental. I would say that most of the ignorant, egotistical elected dopes in the House and Senate do not know what's going on, but Dr. Paul should know by now that this was no accident. He should stop speaking as though it were.
