Dailypaulers opinions on wethepeople.org

Although, like many here I get news and updates from the dailyPaul, and wonder from site to site for information of the day. I primarily stay on the dailypaul.com but today was reading some items from wethepeople.org and found it a bit offensive while reading their platform.
After reading through I do not feel that this is a very liberty minded sight, but rather a pro far right site that is using liberty to promote itself. I have gone no further than to read the platform page and thought perhaps that is not the place for me. Anyone else frequent that site, or think that for a site that promotes liberty they sound a bit neoconish? Just a few items that made me ask this question:

*Abortions only in the case of rape or incest.
What about health issues that could kill the mother? What about a drug addict that cannot afford to care for a crack baby that is in the womb? Sounds very direct and final in the post, not sure I care too much about that mindset.

* Rifle training for all Junior's and Senior's.
I don’t know about you, but when I was in school there were several people there that had zero business handling a firearm, but mandatory firearm training, I’m not to sure on this one.

*Facilitate the overthrow of unfriendly leftist/Marxist regimes, such as Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and Nicaragua, among others.
Hmmmm, endless wars? Perhaps trade with all, allegiances with none, and no wars unless attacked directly would be better for liberty. I can see Russia from my house…..

*Complete the installation of US military outposts within Iraq as a means of guaranteeing long-term stability.
Long term stability in Iraq? Isn’t that kind of like having a telethon and call it screwing for virginity?

*Work to place more honest politicians in Mexico and develop their economy so Mexicans can stay in their native country and prosper.
No comment, just thought we would have a better chance of sending Santa and Big Foot to Mexico, as they would be easier to find..

*Vigorously enforce the death penalty.
After finding that there have been a large number of inmates freed due to DNA investigations, I am not sure I want the .gov to move any faster than it is now in murdering more innocent people.

*Enforce common decency laws throughout the US, and vigorously attack the porno industry, with the intention of ending it within a period of two years.
Soon to follow, vigorously attack the smokers, alcohol users, and anyone else that does things "we" dont like. These views are scary to me as well.

Anyone else see a pattern here? Sounds like the far right have had a meeting with Sarah Palin and made a website. Perhaps I am too liberty minded, I’m not sure, but this list seems to be fairly close to the Bush regimes attack on liberties in my opinion. Anyone out there think I am wrong? If this is what “we the people” think, then this individual is in for a long rest of his life...

Sounds like

The Constitution Party's twin (only without the overt oath of allegience to Christian leaders)

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

I'm gald you posted this. I somehow got

signed up for their emails (don't remember why) but never checked into them much. I actually just unsubscribed this morning because they send way too many emails. After seeing your post, I agree that my views don't line up with theirs anyway. Sounds real neo-conish too me
