Mr. Obama Comments on Osama Bin Laden

"Asked about the importance of capturing Laden in an interview with CBS News on Wednesday, President-elect Barack Obama said: "I think that we have to weaken his infrastructure that whether he is technically alive or not, he is so pinned down that he cannot function.

"My preference, obviously, would be to capture or kill him. But if we have so tightened the noose that he's in a cave somewhere and can't even communicate with his operatives, then we will meet our goal of protecting America."

Do these statements make any sense?

He is very careful to dodge around the issue

of whether OBL is still alive or just a useful boogeyman to use as an excuse for more troops in Afghanistan.

I would call it out and out LIES, and an insult to the intelligence of the people of the world whom he obviously thinks will believe anything he says. He makes himself look foolish and lacks the insight to realize this.
