Building a new city state! Liberty City! Constitution City!
I'm just throwing this idea out there. What if the way to win back American liberty was to create a new country?
Okay, I know this might sound crazy but have a think about it. Lets not forget that the America was founded by those who migrated to a new land to escape persecution for their beliefs.
Essentially those devoted to liberty from all over the world could join together to purchase land somewhere to form a new city state, "Liberty City". The foundations of this new city state would be those of the original American foundation that are being trampled on and overthrown by the NWO. The Constitution would be honored and adhered to. It would have a separate and independent congress (albeit much smaller due to a smaller population), President and judicial system.
The idea is not to separate ourselves from America but show how successful the real America ideals of freedom and liberty are. It would would ultimately become a beacon of hope for the rest of the world.
The "new Dollar" or "Liberty Dollar" would become completely backed by gold.
The aim eventually would be that, through example of this place of peace and trade with all nations, the United States of America would return to liberty. At only the time when America does return to its values this new city could join to become the 51st state.

Ideas for 'free' nations have been around before. I know that the 'Pirate Bay' torrent website at one stage toyed with the idea of creating a new country so they could host their servers outside the jurisdiction of the copyright laws in America and Sweden thus being out of reach of the RIAA and MPAA. They weren't successful at all, though because the people who supported the idea ranged from staunch communists to staunch anarchists. A consensus on the form of government couldn't even get off the ground. Adding to the arguments was the fact that no one had money (hence why they're pirating in the first place) or was willing to donate much.
We have a system of government. We have a structure, there is no debate needed for the initial foundation. Debates can be held in congress and elections, through the system. We have the fund raising ability as seen by the contributions to Ron Paul's campaign. This is something we can do and are capable of.
We have people who set out to form Paulville. This is an extension of that idea but not withing the USA mainland so to be out of reach of the NWO and not "of concern" to them.
Let me reiterate, this is not an abandonment of America or 'giving up' on liberty. Its a new strategy of influence and leading by example. It is not something the NWO would predict, and with liberty in control at the beginning, not something the NWO can control.

Jeeze lighten up, The idea is a good one regardless if someon just thought of it now or earlier. Also the FSP is not the only game in town. And not everyone agrees it's the best place to do it half or more ofthe people voted against NH. More power to them but there are others like the Montana Alliance for Liberty, and the freedom county one posted here earlier today.

It's already being done (sort of)
The republic of Lakotah has backed off of its treaties with the United States. We the People Foundation is having a Continental Congress in 2009, which was originally called in 1776 that led to our Constitution and our bill of rights. Also the zeitgeist movement is trying to get people totally off a monetary system. ( google them to find links)
I don't know why people across the world haven't started doing the same thing. I wish people in other countries like Germany, France, New Zealand, Austrailia, China, Russia, etc. would start having meetings about how to take back their sovereign rights. Start where the British are and demand your gun rights back.
This site is seen around the world by many different countries. The fact is if everyone in those countries demanded their rights back the New World Order wouldn't stand a chance. There would be way too many people awake to their sovereign rights. The will of the people would destroy the opposition.
The sad fact is America stands mostly alone. We still have our gun rights, most of our property rights, we aren't nearly as regulated and regimented as other countries. The question is who will take up the challenge of getting their country under control? We need to end the European Union, the Asian Union and the African Union. The North American Union is covertly working but not set up to its fullest capacity. Once these unions are setup its alot easier to have a world government.
The first goal of any population should be an insulated economy with local and sound currency. Once that's established then you demand your rights. Unfortunately its alot easier to demand rights then to network with neighbors for essentials.

Thats interesting. I've heard of the "Republic of Lakotah" before, though they're a Native American nation attempted to assert their sovereignty from the United States of America.
To be honest, I have not heard of the "We the People Foundation". I did google them and read up on them. They seem like a great foundation and I would encourage them whole-heartily. Working within the system if definitely a great method, but I think many people see the system as compromised or that it will not longer exist if the North American Union comes through in full force.
I think we need to take a "don't keep all your eggs in one basket" approach. Perhaps we could work with this foundation and even reach out to all of those seeking liberty. The new city state could be a 'safe haven' if we're not able to induce change within America itself.

By the way, I myself am from Australia. Our country is heavily influenced by American culture. In fact, while we're still tied to the British monarch there have been referendums on becoming a republic. The reason why they failed is because the form of republic was not one that Australians wanted. The proposed models for becoming a republic was where the President would not be directly elected. People did not like this and thus rejected the idea all together. I believe if the model proposed was closer to the American model it would have been embraced.
How are you going to do that

Well, I believe at our core Australia is very democratic. We pioneered the secret ballot. Our nation was federated through a vote and not a war.
While we have marched off to every American war as an ally in the 20th and 21st centuries, we are traditionally a peaceful nation.
We not a very large (in population) country, only 21 million. Our government doesn't have that much control over the military nor is our military anywhere near as powerful as the American army. Quite simply, the government would not be able to deploy the army into civilian areas with success. They simply do not have the capability. Therefore the threat of oppression is much less.
Also, vote intimidation is almost nullified by the fact that voting is mandatory resulting in a 95% turnout rate of all eligible voters.
In the end it ultimate comes down to democratic means of influence. The NWO does not see Australia as key to anything so have little reason to include us in their world government at this stage. For this I believe we have a free ride and I think a similar attitude would be given to such a 'Liberty City'.
