My addition to preamble the constitution of the United States Of America. Read at your own risk!

'We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are
so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights.'

ARTICLE I:

You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II:

You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III:

You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:

You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:

You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:

You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII:

You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:

You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. Amen and Amen

ARTICLE IX:

You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X:

This is an English speaking country .We don't care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!

ARTICLE XI:

You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!

I am reading Article II while sitting on my toilet shitting on Article X and XI.

Bill of NO Rights

Shades of Lewie Naper. The Original of this was written in 1993 by Lewis Naper in response to a speach given by Hillary on universal health care (Hillary Care).

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

Please change your title.

You are not the author of this. I first saw and read it several years ago.

Yes you did and it was

Yes you did and it was actually 4 years ago and it was written by me!

It was longer ago than 4 years,

because it was before I moved to this home. And, I've been here since March 2001. See comment by another poster above who states this was from 1993.

I apologize I meant to say

I apologize I meant to say over 14 years ago it was a typo and yes I did write it!

What comment by another poster? does that mean you?

Oh great

articles X and Xl kinda scare me...Alot of people who don't speak english contribute to society and the idea that a new constitution is going to mandate they learn to speak english or "go back to wherever you came from" is a little too authoritarian for my taste. Same with a supreme legal document telling people they can practice their beliefs but there is only one true god..whoever that is lol

Authoritarian? look I

Authoritarian?

look I believe anyone has the right to come here but they should have to learn english or be an english speaking person. why do Americans need to change the language of this country to communicate?

Sorry but your statement is lame!

I also believe in God and you are free to believe in what you want but the currency in this country has said in God we trust since before you were born. You don't belive in God that is fine but don't tell me I don't have the right to believe.

Sure its authoritarian

conform to the views of the majority or you go home.its no different than western women having to wear burkas when they visit Muslim countries. At least they do that stuff in the name of Islam and not liberty. I wasn't saying Americans should have to learn Spanish or some other language. People will adapt in order to interact and cooperate with each other. I'm just opposed to the government mandating that certain people conform to their culture, language and religion.

As far as religion goes, you seem to contradict yourself...You said something along the lines that people can practice their beliefs freely, as long as they accept America was founded in the belief of one true god. Thats the same thing you see in a theocracy. The constitution of Iraq says the same thing. Same with Iran. Will new comers be forced to take an oath acknowledging your "one, true God"? Terrifying to think some people would happily accept this new wacky preamble of yours. The government shouldn't choose or even acknowledge any church, God or religion.
