Before they forget about the RPR..
Long-time DPer here and I was thinking about what we all think about today (how to get the word out in a big way). If you are like me, I stumbled into the RPR almost 2 years ago now and I have learned so much by simply keeping an open mind and having faith in the power of the message.
So I'm wondering, why not continue to generate new opportunities to get the word out- some people will still call us crazy but others will maybe open an eye and listen like we have- so hear is my simple idea:
We chose a day (I know plenty of you have historical days in mind that we could use but I'm not much of a historian). On this day we all spread the message in the following ways (maybe April 15th?):
1. Mail a letter to 10 people (handwritten in a smaller personal envelope is best). Not only will people talk but the postal service may notice the huge influx too. (might touch 10 million easy)
2. Email 20 people that you know but who may still have blinders on (include congressmen and women plus state reps if you like too even though I know we've all already done this). Either a message about RP's message or a message that says something like "Can you believe all the RP letters and emails going out today? I thought it was crazy at first but then I read it and it made a lot of sense- sure explains a lot" (maybe 20 million plus)
3. On the chosen day post on sites like Craiglist something like "Wake up people- Freedom is not free- join the campaign for liberty" in the free stuff section. (who knows how many look at these sites too)
You get the picture. The point is though that we need to utilize these easy forms of communication all at once so that we can reignite this movement in a fun way. The message should stick to facts only and should not contain controversial theories that would tune the sheep out or weaken our argument (even if they're true).
Otherwise, what else is our plan? Wait for the SHTF??? Not me, I'm continuing despite the blindness that surrounds me- but we need numbers.
Tyranny has already taken it's foothold, it's time for the good men to make some more noise and take it back.

It would be cool if we could do this for different holidays
For example, for April 15th we could all send out something tax related since people will already be grumbling about their taxes.
For independence day we could put out something about our independence from the British and why we declared it.
For Constitution day... well, I'm sure you catch my drift.

we could get a calendar out- maybe use the official RP calendar that was recently talked about and include key dates throughout the year that every RPR person should know. Then through the internet we could share ideas and posters to prepare for each event.

Here's another tactic to add to your list. Get a few like minded friends together and make up a bunch of large homemade banners. Put something simple and easy to remember on them and go out at night and plaster them all over high traffic areas of a given neighborhood. Stick to short phrases that people will remember and will be curious about, so that they will be inclined to do a web search. Seeing them repeatedly all over their neighborhood will reinforce this. If possible use titles of videos, or of topics that are easily researched. A few examples are:

Graphic Designer out there??
We need a graphic designer who could design a logo for the movement- something like RPR (but with the second R backwards and maybe using the stencil font to represent the thousands of homemade signs that we created during the campaign). If done correctly this could bring us a more legitimate presence on college campus, in local downtown areas, and other high traffic areas where stickers could be placed strategically.

here in MA there are thousands of people that show up for the battle reenactments. It would be a great patriotic crowd to spread the message. April 15th works, but I'm a big fan of the 19th personally.

Well I love the idea to keep the RPR alive and well. I just got done building myself a sort of gorilla production studio. I have been wanting to do a short weekly news broadcast. Needless to say I will always be plugging for the Campaign for Liberty, Dr. Paul, and I live in the Constitution state so I am going to be plugging for Peter Schiff for the senate seat..ViVa Revolution..

Generic Message
This is a good idea. I feel that the momentum has definitely slowed since Ron Paul's presidential bid. However, the economic crisis has its upside. More people will be looking for ideas, and I've found that the Peter Schiff was Right video on youtube is a fantastic way to "show people the light."
More on the topic being discussed, if there was enough support... I'm sure we could get Ron Paul to write a very influential letter to be sent out on a mass scale

I like the idea of involving Peter Schiff in the message and capitalizing on the economic issues. Should it be an invitation to join us or a "did you know" letter?
I think it would also get people's attention if we decided to put up roadside signs again as if the campaign was in full swing again- a message like "The Campaign for Liberty never ends"

I would love to see this happen. April 15 would be a great day because of all the extra mail due to the (illegal) income tax filing deadline!
I hope someone that is articulate can come up with some good letters and e-mails we could send! A nice Ron Paul or Campaign For Liberty stamp on the back of those envelopes would be pretty nice too!!
I think this is a good idea, and should be coordinated better
To have a real effect this must be coordinated with libertarian minded people too, many of them switched GOP to vote RP in the last primary.
These are good ideas and need to be better organized, then -action.

At the present time, there is no better opportunistic target than Ocit. The mere fact this issue has been around for months and the public is not really aware gives us instant cred. It is a made for order "wakeup" issue; simple to understand. "Why won't he just produce his BC and shut us up?" "Why has the media not covered it?" The best strategic target is HR2755 (Feb 23 the next key date, but we have to act before then).
