Everyone so CRANKY!

Jeeze, I haven't seen this much infighting on the Daily Paul in a long time. Folks stop fighting over Racism and God. I'm inclined to think that all this protracted bickering is just to smoke out some sort of crazy statement that could get someone pegged for something. Chill people, just chill. Someone pushing your buttons on the other side of your keyboard is just...well, just nothing.

I know I'm ready to bite someone's head off.

Sounds a little unappetizing though.

I've been cranky since

I've been cranky since Vietnam. LOL

Yeah Im pissed off

As if today isn't bad enough, I have to wade through an inordinate amount of stupidity on the DP.

Thanks to whoever took it upon themselves to censor my post BTW

It all kicked in after the election.

Lots of frustration out there.

The arguments over racism and religion, which got very intense in December, are probably the reason the DP has a dozen moderators now.

I agree

We just have a huge mess to clean up and there are a small group of people who are organized against the clean up. They are very loud about how cleaning the bathroom is the wrong step to take. If we put more filth on top then we won't see the filth underneath.

We just need to clean our area and show the people around us that the spot we cleaned looks better then the crap that the government is slinging.

Dude...

We're cranky because we realize this thing is so much bigger than us..They hold all the cards and change the game to their advantage at will. We're playing straight in a crooked joint. They can change dealers all they want and it won't make a bit of difference---They're all house dealers. Time to find a new game.

Not really! ...

Gordon Brown seems to think that the road to globalization is de-stableizing and that they are beginning to lose ground in gaining global control. I read that here: http://www.thewest.com.au/aapstory.aspx?StoryName=544899

That is the point

They make us BELIEVE that it is bigger than us.

Thats is their endless message.

We are bigger, more mysterious and powerful than you.

Over and over again.

We are big and strong. You are weak and angry and helpless.

We have them outnumbered 10,000 to one and they KNOW it..

Tell everyone you know the truth. As more and more of us know and accept the truth the closer to the end of this we will be.

Look up "the hundredth monkey." On Google.

I live in the southern part of the northeast.

We have snow, but nothing like Wisconsin.

Never in my life have I seen drivers in my region, when they park their car overnight, leave their windshield wipers UP or sticking outward.

This prevents them from being damaged when clearing snow and ice and saves the driver from having to dig them out.

This has been a good idea since 1960, but NO ONE in my region did it.

I work in transportation so I know what the F people do with their cars. I drive all over the place 12 hours a day. I lived in Vermont for years, back in the 80's...nobody did it then....and it snows like a mother up there,

Guess what has happened this winter? 1000's and 1000's of people are leaving their windshield wipers up.

From nobody to everybody....the idea caught and now all is well.

One day we will wake up and the world will be ruled by peace. Read about the 100th monkey, as soon as a few more of us know the truth...everyone will. They know this and it is why they lie.

Truth is eternal and each day more people know it. The truth is not bigger than anyone... we ARE the truth.

Thanks for the lift...yogamama & tstorey

But until we have fair elections, and an honest investigative media, I remain a skeptic..

Personal experience in campaigning for Dr. Paul has taught me that people either A. Are totally screwed up in their facts...Or.. B. Couldn't care less.

This is what makes me feel hopeless above anything else.

CREATE the honest media.

Honestly, one area where none of us have the right to whine is the news media. The last time I looked, the Internet was dominated by free user content.

Newspapers are dying out, and electronic broadcasting, while still going strong, is not all-powerful.

True That Tuma!

I think that the "reality" of TV will lose its luster sooner than later as more people find the REAL stories for themselves. I think that the deal isn't so much about becoming a copycat of the media we know but driving traffic to the real news. that is what I see as the challenge.
Case in point from an earlier post I did:

Tstorey, I like your posts.

They are often uplifting, when it seems everyone else is wailing, tearing their clothes, putting on sackcloth and ashes, or crawling under the bed to hide from the dark forces of Mordor.

The truth is this movement IS AHEAD OF ITS TIME. Dr. Paul is still rising in celebrity and influence. So is libertarianism.

Yes. Yes.

YES,

"Attitude is Everything"

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our attitudes.” Charles Swindoll

"Observe the masses, and do the opposite."

"Observe the masses, and do the opposite."

In the Words of my Sainted Grandmother:

"Hope floats... but then again, so does $#!7."

Relax, folks. We aren't much worse off today than we were yesterday. Imagine there is a filthy bathroom for a minute, okay? Now, imagine that someone has replaced the pink frilly toilet seat cover with a brown one.

That's all that's happened. The bathroom still smells badly.

Meanwhile, UNCRANK! Your fellow DPers didn't pee on the floor. It's not their fault.

Relax, and find a way to laugh. At the current situation if you can't -- but if that's too much to bear, find something else to laugh at. You'll be glad you did.

I agree

I have been very cynical about all this right from the start. I certainly have my reservations about things (on another thread) but I really can't see the point in all that negative stuff. Lighten up! For many African Americans and others throughout the world, this is a day of hope - simply because of their history, which was imposed upon them, and what has now been achieved. I cannot abide racism and I am truly happy for African Americans for the pleasure they are experiencing today. That has nothing to do with politics as such.

And in any case wasn't that a lovely picture? Waving goodbye to Bush and entourage. Heartwarming. ;-)

SHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh....

Everyone is invested up to their necks in gold and we are all anxious to see what will happen in the next couple of months.. lol That could explain the nervousness.

Peace

This guy has plans to ruin our local economy

But nervousness doesn't solve anything. Don't worry, be happy.

You can blame all this on frustration and Obamanation Day.

This absolutely cannot be OUR fault! We are all logical, well informed, open minded, appreciate other points of view when supported by evidence. and are always considerate. We have a great mentor in Dr. Paul to follow and emulate.

If you can read through the sarcasm, we can be much more respectful of one another while we seek the truth. I pledge to try harder.

True.

Wise words...

Thanks Steve.

I do hope and pray

That everyone remains well and good in Washington tonight. The scenarios for trouble are endless.

"Obamney care," Nuff said.

LOL you can't have been

LOL you can't have been around that long! There is always squabbling going on here. I think certain people don't have enough in life going on so engaging in arguments online is all they have. It could be worse of course.
Today has a special pall over the forum in honor of Obummer's inauguration. It'll pass but other things will take it's place : )

Enough of the"End of the USA"

Dungpile thread is great! snapped me out of it. Obama got inaugurated. so what nothing has changed. our goals are still the same as they were before.

It is a tough pill to swallow but I agree.

I imagine this is how many people felt when Bush entered his second term.

Ron Paul is my President.

Ron Paul is my President.

what type of pill is it?

It feels like a suppository to me. I can already here the Fed asking me to bend over for another dose.
