I'm responding to some of the comments here.
Frankly, it's a pretty ugly thing for people to jeer, and cheer for the death of old men, no matter who they are and what they have done.
I don't respect them as Senators, and I despise their patronizing attitudes, but ganging up to stomp them (figuratively) is bullying, and, I would think, beneath us.
Yes, they may have abused their power against us, but we don't have to stoop to their level.

Unfortunately there's a lot of childishness in this movement as well as everywhere else.
I recall all the posts over the summer where people were fantasizing that McCain would drop dead of old age (even though he's a year younger than Ron Paul).

will it take the spotlight off the "coronation"? Wouldn't that be fitting?? Obama's inauguration would forever be linked to the death of an american dynasty.

.. the "ceas`ur" salad. As far as Robert "KKK" Byrd... I believe he was over heard saying, "Over my dead body, before will have one of THEM in the White House". I like a man who sticks by his word.

They're both basically dying of old age. In a just world, Kennedy would have drowned in that car, and Byrd would have been hung from a tree in 1960.

So?
Kennedy has that terminal tumor, and he made the inauguration, so he can keel over now.
Byrd is so old he needs a carbon-dating service to meet women his age.
Now if one of the young-uns was having problems, then that's saying something.
Besides, if a couple of statists bite the dust, the only loss is that it's only two...
Damn!

Due to Obama, how many senators, governors, congressmen....
are now appointed? Some of our "elected" officials are ancient and they will not relinquish their power. They are overdue, long overdue, to drop.
I don't see Byrd mentioned.
A Republican House member told CNN "Senator Kennedy had a seizure," adding it "lasted a while."
