He's not banning guns except assault rifles
According to the Whitehouse.gov website you may be interested to know that he promisses to keep the 2nd ammendment but new guns will need to be childproof too. More military and something about taking on North korea + iran's nuckclear weapons. Promissing to stick with Bush broken promisses on Katrina. (I had to read that bit several times).

It is so ridiculous...
Many guns banned on the original assault weapons ban were not assault weapons at all, but looked like assault weapons. The anti gun crowd are ignorant, and the bureaucracy of gun control is out of control.
