Will there be a RP republican candidate for PA governor ?

Some of the local Papers are already starting to talk about Ed Rendell's replacement. There is likely to be a crowded field, and a good oppurtunity for some grassroots work. Does anyone know if there are any possible candidates (e.g. Sam Rohrer ? )

IF not it looks like the republican candidates will be Jim Gerlach, Tom Corbett, and Rick Santorum (yuck, yuck, and double yuck)

There's a meeting in Harrisburg this weekend

Also this is going to culminate in a brand new CONTINENTAL CONGRESS from all 50 states in PHILADELPHIA in March. This could be really, really big.

I called his office and asked them to contact me back if he decided to run. The receptionist wouldn't say either way. I know he wanted to run for it back in March. If we get some buzz in papers then maybe the scummy republocrats will get scared and put up with a principled republican for once.

I would do what I could to help him.

He knows though that his opponents will try to smear him as a wacko fundamentalists - because of his connection to Bob Jones university. This might be hard on his Family.
