RON PAUL republican may run for governor of Pennsylvania!

0 votes

Representative Sam Rohrer (R-Berks County PA) may consider running for Governor in Pennsylvania. The now governor Ed Rendell (D) is in his last term and (good)republican leadership is sorely needed in the Keystone State. Representative Rohrer has proven himself to be from the "old right" and is a paleoconservative in the true sense of the word. He has sponsored legislation to abolish property taxes in Pennsylvania and is a very strong supporter of the Second Amendment. He is currently championing the cause to abolish Real ID in Pennsylvania as well. Sam also supports home schoolers, (he and his wife home school their children) Sam needs to find out if he would have enough support to make a go in the governor's race. Your responses will be greatly appreciated!

Mmmm, this gives me dreams

Mmmm, this gives me dreams of Edwin Viera's constitutional militias and silver money being passed as law here in PA.

It's a beautiful state, hot summers, snowy winters, lush forests and rolling hills. This really is my home. I'm gonna let this guy know that I support him.

good idea but

Philadelphia would be a hard sell.....too many welfare parasites and liberal catholics (who spend most of their time at the Jersey shore)!!

Any Patriots here...

from Pennsylvania? Lets sign up on Sam's Blog page and let him know we will support him! P.S. You don't have to be from Pennsylvania to sign up.

As I wrote yesterday in a similar thread

Sam Rohrer has been leading the fight against Real ID in this state, and has even traveled to other states to offer his expertise. He is very close to most of us ideologically. He would make an excellent governor.

From his bio:

From his beginnings in the House of Representatives in 1992, Representative Rohrer’s commitment to genuine government reform has been time-tested and is evidenced in his service on the Speaker’s Commission on Legislative Reform. On this platform, he tirelessly upheld the need for both free market reform of the health care system and fiscal discipline in spending as he continues to do today... Drawing from his years of hard work in farming and construction, Representative Rohrer’s political ideology is one of individual responsibility coupled with the belief that our Constitution is the bedrock for making all critical legislative decisions and addressing issues of public policy; he actively promotes educating the public and fellow legislators about the necessity of knowing and understanding our state and federal constitutions.

Finally, here is a testimonial from a fairly prominent activist on the national scene (whose name I will not disclose). He said this to me in an e-mail not long ago:

I honestly believe Rep. Rohrer stands alone in PA as an elected leader. I believe some in PA do not appreciate the quality of the man. Rep Rohrer is this generation's Thomas Jefferson. That may sound like an exaggeration but I assure you it is not. I am proud to say I know the man and that the man knows me. I only wish that Rep. Rohrer had the quality of men working alongside him that Jefferson did.

I'm down with that

And I would help.

I hope that he goes easy on the jesus rhetoric, like Ron Paul does, because that scares away libertarian independents, sometimes, but yeah, I can't think of anyone else in the state to lead the charge.

Should we email his office ? ?

Here you go...

Go to Representative Rohrer's web site and sign up. Get on his mailing list. It's free.
