Unlimited Term for Obama?
Open and transparent government time: A bill was introduced three weeks ago (http://www.thomas.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:h.j.res.00005: ) that seeks to repeal the 22nd amendment to the constitution, which limits office terms for the US presidency. The bill has gone to committee, which is closed to the public. Will we see any mainstream coverage of this?

This was actually done a long time ago during the bush era
It was called "Presidential directive 51" a way to override the Law and remain in office indefinately. I'm actually surprized that Bush didn't use it. google it.

Dear Congressman Serrano,
It has come to my attention you introduced a resolution to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which limits the number of terms an individual may serve as President. What is your reasoning? I can think of only tyrannical purposes for such an affront to our Constitution.
Presidential term limits are designed to help prevent one political entity from dominating the Federal Government. It is quite feasible that a popular or charismatic President, coupled with a compliant Congress, can give rise to a Federal dictatorship in our country. Historical precedent shows such tactics have been used to gain autonomous power. Our liberty is too fragile and too precious to take such careless risks with it, regardless of how good a particular President may be.
Immediately withdraw your resolution Congressman Serrano, for the sake of our liberty and that of our children.

Just saying...going to committee doesn't necessarily mean it's a done deal!
Just remember that Dr. Paul's HR 2755 has been sent to Committee
as well, and we've never seen it again. This is his bill to "end the Fed".
Feb 23 is the next action date
It is in the House Finacial Services Committee. If we are Ron Paul supporters, we should be covering that den of thieves up with support of that bill. I have Violation notices made up for every Congressional district in support of that Bill. Just click on "See all folders" to find your state. I'll try to find a list of members...it is large and probably changing. While we fill the rest of the "House" up with Violations, be sure to see the Commendation for Ron Paul, and send him those.

all these outrageous legislation's coming from. Most of these are wholly unconstitutional, who would advocate such policies? Also; does anybody have any information pertaining to the "unconstitutional" convention how many states (very urgent) are left to ratify the constitution.
