We are making progress!!

I live in a town of about 100,000+ people. It is Surprise, AZ (yeah, not the best city name). Our previous city council members were all disasters. In the last election we cleaned house and replaced just about every one of them.

Recently, I found out that out city was hearing arguments regarding putting speed cameras throughout the city. I immediately emailed all city council members to express my hated for the cameras. Here is the response I got from Joe Johnson:

AMEN!!!! I agree full heartedly. Come to the City Council meeting this Thursday. "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." Ben Franklin

we all need to be talking about! I had (not to nock your accomplishment down) a big win with the represenitives yesterday! 1 day 1 life 1 chance 1 hope 1 future. You never know. Just one sentence spoken can change history if heard to the right ears and felt from the heart.

I read in the news that they had put the cameras on hold.
