By accident, I've stumbled onto the most explosive tool for recruiting new Ron Paul supporters.
I've done everything, fairs, airports, big decals on the car, face-to-face canvassing... you name it. None of it was 1/10th as fruitful as what I am about to share with you.
There are about 8 of us doing it but I need 600 people to really make an unimaginable impact nationwide. Let me know what you think - how you may help.
First, let's pretend you're a restaurant manager or waitstaff. You receive the email below and just follow the instructions.

We need a thread where people who want to DO SOMETHING can go and meet like-minded individuals--and get help! I see people with good ideas---and the money and time to carry them out but methodology and legality questions hold them back.
Here's an example from Dr.Steve(posted the 27th ina Billboard slogans thread:

Has anyone thought about contibuting to run some full page 4 color newspaper ads in IA and NH like that guy did in the USA TODAY?
Someone in another blog said they would start a $5 or $10 collection to run them but i don't know if that is legal.
I would gladly design some ads that we could run for Dr. Paul.
Can i do this work for free or is that illegal? I tried to contact the campaign but they have not responded at all to get the details.
If we can do this legally we could hit all the major cities this month before the primaries. Demoines, Cedar rapids, iowa city. Manchester, Concord etc... Newspaper is less expensive than direct mail and allows you to reach 10's to 100's of thousands at 1 shot for much less than mail. To do 100,00 direct mail pieces would cost about $40,000 although we could reach probably 2 or 3 million people for about the same cost in newspaper.
Someone please let me know what you think of this idea and i will put my staff on it.

This bill is an issue in Congress NOW! People need money NOW. They need to hear about this AND the Congressman sponsoring this bill that will HELP! The other guys are talking lots, but our guy is DOING something! What better way is introduce a voter to Ron Paul!

I'm really sorry for being annoyed the other day that you were posting this information in just about every thread in the forum. I've been a part of many forums over the years and this was just one of my pet peeves... spam.
However, I do understand your attempts to get attention to it and it is indeed very important, thank you for your efforts.
I have finally read what this post is about and you're doing a good job, myself and my friends have handed these tax free tip flyers out to every service worker we come in contact with since they were first made available here at Daily Paul.
I do hope, that you and others would put as much effort into these other two VERY important bills one must be passed, the other must be snuffed out ASAP!

Although we talk about how nice it would be to get $2300 donations like some other candidates, the real power is in the little guys. The $20 this week and again next paycheck is far stronger. Once somebody sends in $2300, they're tapped out. Our rapid response yesterday was a perfect demonstration of little contributions adding up fast! Besides, the little guys have a lot to gain from a Paul presidency, most of them just don't know it yet!

It removes the ability to subtract tips from wages.
Currently you can pay your employee nothing if the employee receives enough paper trailed tips to equal minimum wage.
The issue of Restaurants being able to pay $3 and hour or whatever it is is a separate law that is not affected my this.

UPDATE: rereading. It seems like its only talking about subtracting wages for the purpose of tax reporting for social security. I'm not really sure though, any legal begels out there.. :)

He knows I am a successfull futures trader and I don't have to work.

I slipped a copy of your Tax free info under my cash last night as I told the waitress I don't need any change. She looked at me and asked what is this? I explained that Ron Paul had proposed the legislation and for her to call her congressmen, and to check out Ron Paul for president. She thought that was cool. We'll we had another waitress came by our table and said "Thank You" for the information and that they had posted it in the back! - This works....I don't know how it translates to $$ for the campaign but it gets his name out there!

Our email is all self contained.
It gives them a link to hammer Congress...
It gives them the Ron Paul site...
And it gives them a duplicatable package to send to all of their contacts.
These people APPRECIATE what you did. And most servers are generous to a fault with their hard earned cash.
Most will donate.
I don't even bring flyers with me. I'm too busy. I just sizzle them and get their email addresses and send the package.
I have gained so much confidence from the eager reception I've been getting from everyone that I walk into the best restaurants for dinner and ask for the manager right after we've been seated. I tell him/her this, "THERE'S A BILL BEFORE CONGRESS THAT WOULD MAKE ALL TIPS TAX EXEMPT. IT'S CALLED THE TAX FREE TIPS ACT. BUT YOU KNOW CONGRESS...THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PASS THIS UNLESS WE SPEAK UP. I HAVE AN EMAIL THAT I WILL SEND TO YOU WITH THE CONTACT LINK TO CONGRESS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT IN YOUR ZIP CODE AND IT WILL OPEN UP A BOX ALL ADDRESSED TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE. WHAT EMAIL ADDRESS SHOULD I SEND IT TO?"
It's that simple. I enjoy doing it in person, but I can do alot more over the phone. And it's the same pitch in both cases.
