wow great video!

will post on myspace

Thanks for the support

Thanks for all the chatter about the Gig is Up. I made the video specifically to simplify the concepts, provide an historical backdrop and discuss the current crisis...and, of course, support Dr. Paul.

What I didnt want is to have any factual mistakes or misquotes. I'll do some independent research on the Jefferson quote and others brought to my attention and change them if necessary.

That's the great thing about tape...it can always be edited.

Thanks for all the support and keep up the good work.

Thank you for stopping in.

I showed the lecture to some friends over the weekend and they were simply blown away by your profound speaking capability. My personal favorite, was the visual you created by physically diagraming the orders of magnitude between printed Money, all the way out to the derivatives area completely overwhelming all other items within.

Also, your reference and research material suggestions point to a clear line of research. It gives you away, I worry. And opens you to an unnecessarily rough road that can be laid by critics and detractors. As is offered below about other pieces, I too encourage you to mix it up a bit more and, maybe, if I may be so bold to say, consider leaving LaRou and Zeitgeist for a person's self-discovery so as to better insulate both you AND the extraordinary importance to the singularly profound issue of Money itself. Just a thought.

Regardless... you have my many thanks for capturing this lecture and releasing it to the intertube of webnets.

peace,
e

I enjoyed the video

I sent a link to about 20 people along with a link to Tea Party 2009.

This is a 1-1/2 hr long presentation from a patriot who is brave enough to lay it all on the line.
Gary Fielder starts with a basic introduction and proceeds to build a case that is indisputable.

Obviously a great up-to-date lecture (12-2008) which will make it easy for most people without any formal economics education to understand exactly what the bankers and their manipulations have done to enslave us.

Dude, don't take it so personally. That video is really good.

He's waking people up. He may quote 1 or 2 videos that may give people bad info within them, he doesn't share any bad info. Don't let people who don't even watch the whole thing bug you. Was this you?

I cant let some Jive

ass tell me whats bs is the point.. thanks
Mike for the good word

Jive

you better show some factoids bud. dogging this vid is uncalled for and I am going to have the last word with your sorry trolling butt.

no need to get offensive

no need to get offensive man. Jive has a couple points there. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good video. I love the fact he references DiLorenzo. However, the guy DOES cite quotes that are false, such as the jefferson one about the banks:

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/80247

He also references Money Masters which is a very *conspiratorial* type video. Great info but the overall vibe to the regular, everyday Joe is one of conspiracy theory. That's one thing I'm hoping the Revolution will steer clear of in the future as it doesn't help propogate our cause to the *mainstream* which is who will have to be targeted if we ever hope to be anything as a movement. The Mises Institute video on the Federal Reserve is still, imho, the best video on the Federal Reserve.

Again, I hope you don't take this as a putdown of your attempts to wake others up to the Federal Reserve. Just clarifying about the false/erroneous quotes and such.

jive lies

bring it on you lying sack of ******

Jive Talking

It's right to hold every poster's feet to the fire.... and there are trolls here ... Jive is not one of them, in my opinion.

But many regular posters flip their opinions out there, thinking they can spit snark without needing to defend their view expecting a dittohead pile on to carry the day.

Call people out, but let's not be cavalier.

hey jive

where are you? tell me some more BS

Hey, friend, cool down and

Hey, friend, cool down and we can talk. I am reluctant but willing to go back and view the hour and twenty minute video to refresh my memory on what I thought was wrong, if we can discuss it civilly. I deleted my first response after re-considering it. I've been posting to the internet (arpanet, usenet) since the mid '80's when there were only about 50,000 of us. This was the first time I was ever called a liar on the net. I would like for it to be the last. It is easy to get carried away when once cannot see the other person, listen to voice inflections, and so forth.

I spent a solid year doing nothing but working for this movement of ours. It was one of the best years of my life. I do not want to get into a row with anybody here. In fact, I won't. So let's take a chill pill and discuss it next week. Deal?

no need to get defensive

calm down man. I'm in agreement with some of what jive said. The money masters video is extremely *conspiratorial* and the money as debt video has multiple quotes in it that are either unreferenceable or just outright conglomeration platter quotes with bits and pieces of various quotes strung together to mean something that they weren't. aka the woodrow wilson quotes amongst others.

IMHO these aren't the kinds of videos that I would be showing others. What i WOULD be showing them is the video from the Mises Institute located here:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-466210540567002553

It is easy enough for the common layperson to understand how immoral the Federal Reserve system is without all the *conspiracy theory* vibe that the Money Masters video has, nor does it use any quotes that aren't correct as the Money as Debt vid does.

Overall I think the Mises Institute video is hands down the best way to get the average person to begin questioning the Fed because it is straight forward, factual, and less than an hour long. Lastly, it brings them right to the front door step of www.mises.org which is exactly where we should be funneling people to learn more about Austrian Economics and free markets.

I hope you don't take my post as trolling as that's not my intent. I just think the Mises video really is the best vid to open up people's eyes about the Federal Reserve.

defensive...

give me a break dude.

show something about this vid that's untrue...

Thanks for the post

This could be a powerful tool, to help people understand what is going on.

Maybe, those who did not watch the DVD's we gave them before, just might be more interested now.

Excellent way to keep our teaching fresh and timely.

This should be "weekend watching"

front page material

That was excellent!

I can't wait to burn it and pass it around. It is so up to date. Thx!

Fantastic!

That was a very informative and interesting video.

That's a good one

Looks like the grassroots movement is growing.
