Barrack O'Mallys stimulus plan...

can be reviewed here.http://www.ecoforward.com/index.php/home/139-first-draft-of-stimulus-package Lot of pork in this one. Most don't have jack to do with getting our economy back on track. (one billion dollars for child support enforcement)? They are spending way more than they would ever collect.

Obamas Foreign Policy~ Chaos,Murder, Destruction... Same

Nothing has changed...the puppet has a new look but the hand inside
is still the same!
I've been reading alot of Chris Floyd's articles..he writes some hard hitting pieces and is regularly on Anitwar.com and also the Baltimore Chronicle. The one below is from his blog "Empire Burlesque" I hope some of you will bookmark the site for his insightful hard hitting writings. ...

First Blood: Pictures from Lifes Other Side

"Already, Obama has ordered his first drone missile attacks on the sovereign territory of Pakistan, an American ally; already he has killed his first civilians with the faceless, soulless weapons of remote-control mass death.

What's more, the Commander-in-Chief has already overseen his first mass slaughter of civilians in Afghanistan, the land he calls "the central front in the War on Terror," where he plans to commit tens of thousands of more troops in a massive escalation of a war that his new Terror War envoy, Richard Holbrooke, now says will last longer than the Vietnam War. "

One could also add the three Americans and 75 Iraqis killed in the empire's Babylonian province since Obama took office to the first fruits of the new leader's war-like reign. But then again, the debauchery in Iraq has been long, long forgotten, written off even by Obama himself, who proclaimed months ago that he was as one with Bush in regarding the "surge" as a "success beyond our wildest dreams."

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd

I have a dream and it's way off subject, bear with me here

I don't know much about land legalities other than my name is on 10 acres that I have paid for in full, but it's not mine unless I pay the government rent (taxes). Why couldn't we (Paulites and other concerned citizens) set aside land (or buy adjoining parcels) and declare that the law of that land be led by the Founders' Constitution? Is there any way around this mayhem I would much rather not be a part of (big government)? Is there any way to set up a sort of "reservation" like the Native Americans have or that the Amish people live by (no taxes to the government, live by our own values, etc.)?? Where people can work and keep there earnings, support other tradesman in the village or territory by purchasing goods and service within, have our own economy of trading, bartering, or purchasing with gold? Where there is no debt, no bailouts, no crookedness? Where things can be blissfully simple and the way the founder's intended? Where we can elect Ron Paul as our leader????? I do not post a comment very often, but do enjoy reading all of the DPer's comments, you all seem to be very knowledgeable. Please tell me why this can't be done??????

Look into a land patent.

If it is owned free and clear as you claim then this may be an alternative. I have only investigated it briefly but my understanding is that if you get down to the originating documentation, you can tell the tax man to stuff it... Remember to investigate it fully, even down to court cases won by people in your state that have done it. If you don't dot every "I" and cross every "T" they'll have you by the short hairs.

Paul.

The government hates non-conformists

Some Mormons tried this in Texas. They had all their children kidnapped at gunpoint; had their ranch called an "armed compound".

And that was not the first time. Remember Waco?

The government does not like people thinking they can live on their own away from society.

RP2012!

That's what I was afraid of.....

.....I didn't want it to come off as a "compound" or sound like Jim Jones or whatever his name was, I am just ready to go old school. I am relatively young (the under 30 crowd) and I just can't stand the way things are. The struggle to keep my head above water in these crazy times opens my mind to a whole bunch of daydreaming....and you all are lucky enough to join in! :) I dream of a simpler time, a simpler way of life, a lot of hard work, and a lot of self-fulfillment from it. Seems like the harder I work the harder Uncle Sam tugs at my wallet. It seems I can't enjoy the fruits of my labor, I'm too busy rushing off to pay some tax...like property tax for instance, which they are supposed to use to keep up the roads and such. Well, they took our paved road and instead of fixing it they dumped a pile of gravel on it. I pay for concrete and get gravel. Story of my life.

Steps to secure a Land Patent

With a land patent as the operating authority on the land, the Land cannot thereafter lawfully be taken for debt or taxes, except by the willing grant of the Landowner.

Question for you guys..

I haven't went to the link yet that you provided but Isn't Texas the only place left in America where you can acquire the allodial title for land? Or did they kill that off there also?

Owning the allodial title of a piece of land means you actually own the ground, the minerals, the whole enchilada. No taxes can be levied on that land, because it is yours. However most Texans don't know how to obtain one, or even know what one is, so they are in the same boat the rest of us are.

Thank You!

Thank you! I will look into it further and see what I can do.

conservative vs neo-con

~
Excellent and helpful chart I print out to show constituents the hijacking of the party by the neocons and how we want to restore it to true conservative values.

Note: This is generally correct. Some points need further explanation. For example, it's not isolationism to reject military intervention in foreign countries that pose no danger to the United States. Ron's policy is the same as that of our founders: peace, commerce, and friendly relations with all nations, entangling alliances with none. That policy served us quite well before Woodrow Wilson threw it all away to serve his lust for power ...

Iran: Obama spoke of his "plans to engage"

Excellent delivery, as always! Dr. Paul makes me proud to be an American. One thought: It's probably an important time to start raising awareness about the above Subject, as per the propaganda* piece from yesterday's WSJ. Also, regarding Israel: If any Americans patriots or potential patriots (of ALL religions and beliefs) have not yet seen The Israel Lobby**, this free 50-minute video is an awareness gem to absorb and distribute to friends and family ASAP. Obama is 'smack dab' in the Israel (AIPAC) lobby.

Just watched the Israeli lobby video...

and it was right on but, still treated AIPAC with kid gloves. I watched the influence of the lobby and Israels influence over our country and our cowardly representatives for more than 40 years. We knew then what was going on. I recall as a young Marine in 1973 after having already spent a tour in Vietnam, getting warning orders for potential deployment to defend Israel in their renewed war with the Arabs. The Marines knew it wasn't our fight and really didn't want anything to do with it but, of course Marines have to follow orders which ultimately originate with the civilian hierarchy. I (and many of Marines) knew that the big fix for Israel was in and resolved to not pursue careers in the military to perpetuate the wrong minded policies of our government to defend an aggressive and murderous regime. I did not and do not accept the on going argument that Israeli's should do as they please because they were victimized during WWII. Millions of others were murdered and victimized. I say exist by all means but, just do it without American money and blood. We know who you are. We know who the traitors in congress are and one day this will be sorted out. Dr.Paul is right about O'Bummer. It's just more of the same but his aggressiveness is going to have a larger more damaging impact on our country.

As always, I agree with

Dr. Paul 100%. My question is, What is the next political move to put pressure on Obama to make changes in his policies? Can a coalition be put together to affect change? I am unwilling to accept the status quo. How can the r3volution effectively change business as usual?

The message that Congress needs to hear is that no meaningful changes can be made at home until we clean up the mess overseas. I think our model ought to be just like the spontaneous political rage that defeated the 1st bailout package in the House of Reps.

I will

Continue to ignore Obama, and listen to the good Dr!

hmm

They really an editor.

Dr. Paul "Afghanistan will be Obama's war"

Other than that, great video!

What is wrong with that statement?

PJB made the same argument in a column weeks ago. The title of the column was "Obama's War."

PJB and Dr. Paul are both right on this.

Here's the column if you want to read it:

nothin

The only think wrong with it is that they added or didn't add a parenthesis.

Watch the video. It says-

"Afghanistan will be Obama's war

I just felt compelled to be the grammar police.

Oh?

I THINK I agree with what you're saying. My problem with the quote-banner is that while its a pretty significant statement, its only a part of what he's said- and seems kinda hostile. I do however agree with the statement. The Obama admin will likely be embroiled in Afghanistan in his 2nd - 4th year after Iraq has faded from the headlines (if in fact he manages to pull out a profound number of troops from Iraq at all). Perhaps the Afghanistan quagmire will be the new " Iraq". So the statement is accurate in the context of Iraq = Bush's war, Afghanistan = Obama's war.

nonono

It really will be Obama's war.

A voice of pure reason in a sea of confusion. How refreshing it

is to hear Dr. Paul speak.
This video helps to keep me grounded.

Yeah...

...I like this one too! Dr. Paul gets really fired up! What do you think of it?
